New gen update or new version of F4SE screwed this mod up again. Does anyone have a fix? Please help.

I was unable to get the mod running again. The instructions left to update the mod independently seem to either be outdated or straight up incorrect. The instruction set lists addresses that do not exist and asks for values that do not exist, at least from what I could tell. An attempt to get help form the mod author and the person who compiled the instruction set was made, neither replied. I have been unable to find an alternative besides just downgrading your Fallout4 to runtime 1.10.163 but I understand if you do not wish to do this.

 

I have been informed that this should work on runtime 1.10.984 despite being built for 1.10.163 but I have been unable to get it to work on the newest runtime. I have no reason to believe it works on the newest build since other people have reported that it no longer functions but I suppose you can try it out. I am trying to figure out how exactly this one person who claims it runs on the new build time got it to function but there is a language barrier, delayed response times, and have yet to provide me with any solid instructions.

 

TLDR: I was unable to update the mod. I know of no functional alternative for runtime 1.10.984.

I was unable to get this to work in the newest FO4 version, but there are mods which can help you downgrade / roll back your game version to a previous version that works.  I confirm the mod still works when i use a FO4 downgrader.  Good luck

Yep, this mod is sadly broken now as of the latest Fallout 4 update 1.10.984.0.0. tfc 1 or tfc commands for free camera doesn't work anymore when your character dies.

Hi, i appreciate you trying. Everytime i come back to Fo4 this is the first thing i get working as without it im not interested in the game. will keep and eye on it. Thanks to everyone who has or is actively trying to revive the mod.

i've been using this 4 years ago pretty fine in 1.10.163 version of the game but today after i downloaded the game and did Downgrade by using Steam Depot command, the Death Camera doesnt function at all, not sure if the codes people mentioned about 1.10.163 (in page 4) works by doing downgrade anymore.

Found a workaround on game version 1.10.984.

After death, type in console:

 

player.setunconscious 1

player.setunconscious 0

Thank you so much for this. This works on the current game version 1.10.984 and you do not need this Free Death Camera mod installed.

 

Though the ragdoll of your body does get quite glitchy like if you activate tfc/tfc1 in the middle of your body falling down which leads to your body floating in mid air.

I can no longer get this to work after the Anniversary Update that they forced upon us.

Anyone have any fixes or alternatives?

None of the memory references to search for maps to anything in the AE update. It would take a while to figure out what exactly to look for now. Partial matches bring up several possible RVAs so testing any combination of these is going to be wild. I've reached out to gp160 and taking a crack but it is incredibly difficult to find the right RVAs for the most up-to-date patch.
