Tex Posted November 28, 2017 Posted November 28, 2017 Basically Skyrim crashes on seemingly randomly intervals, or on specific actions, opening menus (inventory or quest list), or when an npc decides to approach me, for an dialogue (A deadras best friend). Added my loadorder, any tips as to what could be causing it, would be appreciated. LoadOrder_Skyrim_2017-11-28T17-42-44.txt

A side benefit will be that you can't use most of your current mods, almost all of which are script-heavy. 2) Look at your Papyrus logs. If a mod is giving lots of errors, figure out why or remove it. 3) Figure out what you want from this playthrough, and only include mods important to it. 4) You are using Alternate Start - start a new game so old saves are not an issue. Anyone with as many mods as you probably does not do a good job of removing mods. 5) Always use Loot, followed by FNIS. 6) I recommend Mod Organizer for Oldrim. Break your load list up into a half dozen profiles of related mods. Don't throw everything into the game at the same time. 7) If you are lucky, last couple of lines in your Papyrus log will indicate why you are crashing. 8) Most important - dump half your mods. You have way too many script-heavy ones. I would start off removing Creature Framework, HentaiCreatures,SanguinesDebaucheryDeviouslyCursedLoot,zzEstrus,EstrusSpider,FillherUp, and SkoomaWhore. Run like that for a bit and see how it goes. If good, then add mods back one at a time until it breaks.
Tex Posted November 28, 2017 Author Posted November 28, 2017 @fred200 that's the odd part, i've been running most of those mods for an very long time now, and had no crashes, then i installed some new ones, and it all went boiling to hell. Unfortunetly i have no idea which ones i did install (fuck me). I am using loot, it didnt seem to detect any issues with load order either. Going to check papyrus.

Sarge Misfit Posted November 28, 2017 Posted November 28, 2017 What MadMansGun said I just recently played for over two days with 254 mods installed and no CTDs. I attribute that, in part, to Crash Fixes, along with recently changing from Win7 to Win10. I'm now down to 249 because I found that I really Legacy of Dragonborn is simply too much to suit my tastes, and its 8 plugins or so, once you add patches.
Tex Posted November 28, 2017 Author Posted November 28, 2017 I'll check that one out, thanks madman/misfit.
LordFrobo Posted November 28, 2017 Posted November 28, 2017 If you're not already doing so make sure you use mod organizer to install your mods.
Tex Posted November 28, 2017 Author Posted November 28, 2017 The crash fix plugin worked, thanks fellas.
