Outfit Studio and Nif Export problem

I really don't know to whom should I write and I am a bit desperate, I often end up with below problem:

Project in OS: https://i.imgur.com/7NogQtN.png

Nif after export in nifskope: https://i.imgur.com/GAKWl3V.png

I weight paint couple of separate mesh pieces manually and I assign whole piece to single bones.

Is this OS bug? Or I do something wrong?

Here is how single piece is weight painted as example: https://i.imgur.com/yJJgf1K.png

Messed up nif in the attachment.

I have seen that before when dealing with meshes from different games except for fallout 4 as I don't have it. But I'm pretty sure it's a mesh problem. How it was made could be causing it or something you did somewhere might of done it. I have had weirdness a few times where I had to start over with a new nif as the old one had some weird heebee jeebee's going on in it.

Have you tried weight painting non manual? I usually do the start new project select body then select armor/outfit nif and then select outfit parts then select bone nodes then copy bone weights - transfer bone weights then save as. If it looks good take it into game and see if any weight paintings need any touch ups.

I made those meshes myself in Blender. Then I exported these meshes to OBJ.

The thing is I was using previous OS project, to update some of the meshes. I deleted old meshes I wanted to update in OS, I left reference CBBE body and some other pieces.

Then I imported new pieces from obj, for some of them I copied weights, but for others I have to assign to single bone, so I can't copy, those pieces have to behave like armor plates, they cannot bend or twist.

I just made new project, I imported all pieces from OBJ and quickly copied weights for everything. Having that, there is no issue with nif, except wrongly placed plates, and those bends and twists: https://i.imgur.com/f9aGuFv.jpg

But why editing existing project is making such mess? If I will have to re-paint everything even if I want to change one single small piece... I think I quit...

Some edits, mess up whole project, and this cannot be undone. I edited weights for plates on elbows, and result is like this: https://i.imgur.com/dB2T1hV.png

Every time I see this it's the bone weights. They're seriously hosed. Try deleting all the bones in nifskope, import the mesh, import a reference, copy all the bone weights from the reference, then save it again.

If you have a piece of the mesh you want to act as though it's rigid, paint it with a single bone. It may help to look at some meshes that have similar pieces and move like you want this to move to see how they're painted.

Isolated vertices.......

Isolated vertices.......

But why mesh works fine after first initial import into OS? I will check if I have any isolated vertices in Blender, but I have a feeling I don't... I will update on isolated vertices once I check that.

ok I was experimenting a bit with OS... I created new OS project, after reference and obj import I copied weights for all meshes execpt one. this one I painted manually to one bone... and voila, nif is a mess.

And even I later copy weights for this piece, it won't fix it, exported nif is always broken :(

But guess what...

I made another new project, loaded reference, imported the same OBJ, I copied weights for ALL meshes...

Then I painted one piece all in RED to one bone, saved nif, reloaded and it was green, because was still wieighted to other bones...

This time, I removed weights from other bones for this mesh and again painted max weight (red) for the same single bone... and... nif is ok...

Isn't this a huge BUG in OS then? if you manually paint without copying wieights first or something?
