my experience with Furries

This year i was at the CSD (Christopher Street Day, for everyone who aint got a idea what that is, imagine it like a gay pride for everyone, you have LGBTS, Daddys & Littles, Doms & Subs, Furries, Petplayers and so on.)

 

 

and it turned out a guy which i was friends with from the local BDSM community was a furry aswell, we had some fun time teaching people about BDSM while he walked around with a tail on his Butt, his and my girlfriend poked me with it dozend of times xD

 

after a while his Friends showed up, in fullbody furrie suits.

 

Honestly i never really understud what people liked about furrys so much, to that point...

 

We all ended up Groupcuddeling, basicly rubbing myself against that fur while beeing petted with paws was so cozy its unbelievable.

 

Like many Kinky communitys it turned out that the Furry community was a very open and nice one where everyone tried to have a fun time.

 

The best way to get an opinion on a group of people or fetish is to make contact with those people :3

The people are too afraid to try something out, be it because they have wrong ideas about it or it is not "normal". They fear it, so they don't try it, so they fear it more because they don't know it.

 

One only really can say to like or not to like something, once this something got tried.

Yeah, be afraid to try something is another matter , but consider an unknown practice abnormal or be scared of people that do it , is unfair and unwise.

I only ever met one furry (online, we were in a guild together) and he might've not the best example of furries, but they didn't seem particulary enticing to me. Though fluffy costumes and cuddling does sound really inviting... I guess my main issue would be the weird artworks and the animal genitalia? But that is only one aspect and not everyone's cup of tea, so they are in my good graces as long as I don't have to see any weird animal porn artworks (you'd be surprised how often I stumble about this without looking for it) I'm good.

 

edit: @Leon0803 do you happen to be swiss? I know we only have CSD in Germany and Switzerland so I figured you must be from either of those. I haven't seen anything other than just plain old gays on our CSDs, but it was mostly smaller cities so I guess that's why. I once met a customer from work and he totally winked at me when he recognised me ;D but I already knew he was gay because he mentioned it before^^ dunno if I would appear somewhere in BDSM attire in broad daylight if I also worked in that city.

I live in Hamburg Germany, so its rather big and we basicly had everything

haha oh well it was a 50/50 chance and I thought I saw you use a swiss greeting somewhere

I might visit next month because I have a good friend who's living in Hamburg for a few months and I never went there before. Will definitely have to check out the scene and hope I won't scare my friend

 

I might go see the CSD in Frankfurt this summer to see if there's bigger variety of people there

I had a friend who was a closet furry...which is ironic, as I only found out when I found his fursuit in a closet. He was SUPER embarrassed, but I laughed it off and told him I couldn't care less what he liked to dress up in. To each their own, I say.
