ENB doesn't work for me

I'm using Rudy ENB for Climates of Tamriel which I have installed for ENB version 319

that's what the main screen and smoke from fires looks like and my entire characters body is white from the ENB, if I remove it, everything is fine however.

 

319 - white smoke

315 - doesn't load

221 - everything is black

tried changing to tetrachromatic enb but it seems the problem is with enb 319

used realivision and 315 and it straight up wouldn't launch, changed ini files and everything

seems to me that anything that glows or is white is turned absolutely white, like orc teeth would be insanely white and so would their eyeballs. theres also a desk in alternate start that is completely white

Seems to me the ENB is missing files.

 

Do the following:

 

1. Remove all traces of enb, do this in your mod manager and then open the folder manually, and remove all traces of the ENB files. You may have to inspect the mod archives manually to figure out all the files.

 

2. Open the launcher and let it set graphics options. 

 

3. Play the game and see if everything is okay.

 

4. Download the entire ENB package from Boris' site. 

 

5. Unzip the contents into your Skyrim directory. *Not data, the directory where Skyrim.exe exists* 

 

6. Open the lanucher again and turn off AA and AF.

 

7. Launch the game and activate your chosen options in the ENB configurator. Don't worry about image quality, we won't be using this preset.

 

8. If everything looks okay (note your mod manager wasn't used for the above steps), exit the game and remove the files you copied.

 

9. Reinstall your chosen ENB. If everything was okay in step 7 and is now borked, your installation process or mod manager is the issue.

 

10. If everything was not okay in step 7, tell us what it is.

Make sure you have made the proper INI edits as described in the ENB page of the ENB you are currently using.. for tetrachromatic you need to edit skyrimpref to reflect the following.   the bfloatpointrendertarget is particularly important.   If you are using MO with local saves for your profile, you need to do the edits from within MO because they are not stored in the usual place.

Well in that situation, I would check the weather mods and make sure it is set up for the ENB you are using.. then maybe start from scratch on installing the ENB by removing all traces with https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/7804/?.

 

Make sure you have all the files you need to install it back in.   It could just be bloom settings are stacked too high between enb and weather mod (or other mod)  or it could be remnants of an old ENB in there messing with the settings.

@Pauduan I goofed, I tested those with Mod Organizer and after opening it without mod organizer, it worked fine so its probably a mod conflict

so apparently onetweak was causing the main menu blocky smoke, but I've still got in-game problems

 

if i look in a specific direction, everything turns white except HUD

 

if i have a spell in hand, the orb is white and blocky

 

my teeth are completely white

 

onetweak also turns my body completely white

game works fine without ENB so onetweak is messing with the ENB in someway

 

the enb is also messing with some other mods because the other ones listed above are not apparent when I play without the ENB

I use Onetweak to get the borderless window set up (useful for Alt-Tab midgame).

Everything works perfectly and I'm also using the latest ENBSeries and Rudy ENB versions together with Climates of Tamriel. 

 

Tbh I don't see how this mod could do what you claim it does, like turning the player character white.

replaced the files above and still nothing, tried using this guide: https://www.loverslab.com/topic/43043-skyrim-modding-guide/ with realvision 315 and it still crashed, even if i launched without MO or had onetweak unchecked
