Hello, just installed Skin Textures v3 by HI-METAL and have encountered a weird visual problem. Butt hole texture looks very bad like on the pic. Does anyone know what can cause this and what should I try to fix?

That happens when HI-METAL texture is used on a mesh that has a different UV layout i.e. Knight77's nude mesh.

Solutions:

1) use a different mod for that swimsuit.

2) Disable HI-METAL skins, and enable Knight77 skins

3) Edit the HI-METAL skin and combine it with Knight77's skin

The mesh made by mono1214, usually the mods say that they need HI-METAL textures. Ofcourse it's hard to find old mods now - this may be a good start:

 

To combine the skin textures you need an image editor with a directX10+plugin to edit dds files. Just layer HI-METAL texture over Knight77's, then erase the small pussy and anus from HI-METAL's texture, it's in the upper right. Some of HI-METAL's textures are larger / hi resolution. Whether you downscale HI-METAL's or upscale Knight77's is up to you.

To edit dds files:

I use photoshop cs6 with intel texture works plugin

paint.net with DX10+ plugin can work, but the alpha channel is weird with dds files, though it saves them correctly - it's harder to work with

Gimp may have a plugin but I haven't used it.

Happens to me but I fix it with changing of the global shadow settings. It may not work but you can try it to see if it helps.

You must install the square bikini mods.

It was intended to work with HI-METAL mods.
