lolwut? Nah, I don't suspect any sort of holy trinity there. If so, they've got me completely fooled. But I do sometimes wish Ashal was like a regular in the forums. Is it bad form to participate in one's own forums? I like how active Greg is in the forums, and not just the help sections!

I wouldn't be suprised if Ashal has another account he uses for day to day posting, I've done that in the past when I've admined forums, great way to be able to just relax and not have folks running to you for everything.

But I've actually noticed Ashal in the "Users browsing this thread" part of the page quite a few times while also browsing the same thread, doing just as he said he does, which he said once about how he mostly just checks the General section to see what's up while the modos check the rest. It wouldn't make sense that he would need to login as Ashal just to ghost the section if he also had another account for posting. I saw him the other day in one of my threads, though he didn't post anything. It was also one that Greg had posted in a few times, so, nah.

Ashal, Greg, and Han, it must hilarious to hear us speculating about you like this. Oh, the way I just now referred to you all separately, it's obvious I've got no suspicions, myself.

As previously said, I largely stick to the general and off topic sections of the forums, as I'm not active much in Oblivion/Fallout/Skyrim these days, though I do keep up with reading the latest updates on major mods, so I can stay "in the know." I may not post much, but I do read a lot.

Even on other forums I don't admin I'm just not much of a poster. If I don't have something to contribute or say, or it simply doesn't involve me then I stay out of it. I've on more than one occasion started to reply to a thread and stopped myself before actually posting it, feeling I wasn't really adding to the conversation in any meaningful way.

I just have the habit of over analyzing everything I say online in a public manner to a fault. Almost everything I write goes through 2 or 3 iterations/rewrites before I actually post it, this very reply being no exception. Even after posting I tend to continually edit and tweak minor things. When I do post I tend to obsess over the reactions to it, which can be crippling, so I tend to be conservative when it comes to deciding to post.

I can be like that, especially when my real identity is known. Been told I think too much, which makes me think about it even more. It's like what do I have to say that is so important that it needs to be said? Tomorrow, I'll probably just disagree with myself anyway. I'm always wanting to go back and delete earlier posts and sometimes do.

Over thinking it some more, I see Kashiwaba Tomoe's point better now. As the site owner, you're not really anonymous like the rest of us, so it's probably like you said x10! Plus, you run the risk of people judging the site after judging you. Definitely steer away from posting in any political threads (speaking of which, I should be better to LL by lessening my habit of starting such threads which can so easily divide us here!). So maybe if you ever did feel like posting casually or adding to your own community, it would be totally understandable and perfectly fair for you to use an anonymous account like the rest of us.
