Check the normal maps, also  modded head textures can mismatch

I think I found the reason.

For some reason, creators of new body textures often do not pay attention to the alpha channel. In original textures, the image in the alpha channel has a complex appearance, adapting to the outlines of the body. In mods, the alpha channel is often just a uniform gray color.

In the neck area, therefore, the texture of the body and the texture of the head do not match in the alpha channel. Because of this, a clearly visible difference appears not in color, but in the brightness of the paint.

The alpha channel in the diffuse map seems to be responsible for the shine?

In that case you could decompose the channels, get the alpha and compose it back in the new texture

It turns out to be even sadder. The reason I named turned out to be not the main one, but relatively insignificant.

In fact, any mod I know that replaces the body model results in a seam on the neck. With any textures. Yet Another Kenshi Nude Mod and other mods from Steam, or LL_Renude from here. I tried to apply different textures, but the result is always about the same and ugly.

The ballet shoes from the 'Strange Things from the Past' mod have clipping issues with the character's feet. Is there a way to resolve this?

Use the community part map mod

Just wanna mention anyone who uses the 2b mod here, be careful if you recruit them multiple times as it stuttered the hell out of my game plus bugged out the character icons with the head parts. After i cut my team down to just 3 of them (2p a2 2b) game has not stuttered since, Before i tried doing this i installed almost all the known performance mods and it kept freezing when clicking on npcs or going through inventory but nothing worked.

When using this patch, Marisa just turns invisible. What do I do?

Sorry for late reply, I haven't played Kenshi in a while.  Are you sure its not a basic installation mistake, like is the load order correct? Also could you show a screenshot of the character so i can have a better idea of the issue

What body textures are you using here? is it shared here?

I believe it was from steam, a nude mod.

Here you are!

There is several alternative files as well (such as darker textures for original leathers and fishnets as normals). Also I've added alternative armored rags skirt and alternative coat. You can choose what to install separately.

PRAISE THE SUN! Aka: Holy shit, Why Rigging models is such a tedious task? While trying to rig the body to a female armature skeleton, I only realized that I was just missing, ironically, the vertex group of the whole model itself, but when trying to automatically Armature with the automatic deformation option to it, And for some, very weird weird reason, The hips are detected as 'hand' for some unknown reason to it, Anyone has an idea of why? image.png.9398a2e584d3d0b8440e8331dfde68c3.png

Man if it hasn't been a while since I last posted here, but I haven't entirely forgotten about this, almost took me two years, but The skeleton and mesh were finally rigged to work perfectly without losing it's bodily shape (At all) Now I just need to arrange a way to fix the skin from the original model and all the waiting time would be over, Hah.

not saying you should do this, but I found making a temporary grid pattern as your skin for the texturing of the model with just a watermarked pattern of the original over the top of it makes lining up the edges of the skin with each part much easier. that way you're not trying to guess where your seem points should be connected. just a suggestion.

Well, as it turns out rigging the body was just halfway the experience of getting this done, But now after arranging the UV and mapping with the latest Nvdia texture tools exporter I found myself with overshinny textures, I threw in a custom partmap on the formula but the results are pretty much the same, Any Idea if the exported bodymask from the Texture tools exporter is doing this? image.png.1af51c14298a6d6a12c8e9698a789832.png (I need to revise the mesh around the Nails due to some floating models, I will be uploading this very early work in progress until then and see if anyone else finds any other floating model bits on the body)

Is there a way to do this for races, like the Asaultron mod? I also see that skeletons are not included.

Hello, I've been trying to find a fix for an issue I've had for the past few days. I looked for a solution and tried everything I thought would be a simple fix, but it doesn't seem like anything is working. The issue in question is related to the Haydee Mod by @Kargrin . They do amazing work, but I think this problem is a known issue, and I'm not sure what is causing it. I could use any advice I could get. Somehow, the issue is fixed under specific circumstances? Let me explain.

The problem in question is the game crashing during dialogue with the Haydee Mk. Zeta you meet in the hub, providing the "OGRE EXCEPTION(5:ItemIdentityException): No state found for animation named 'idle_stand_normal' in AnimationStateSet::getAnimationState at ..\..\OgreMain\src\OgreAnimationState.cpp (line 333)" In the crashdump's kenshi.log. I have tried many things to fix this with varying success. I've disabled all my mods but the Haydee Race mod and it still crashes on dialog start. Gone into the mod files and looked for the dialog trees for any obvious problems (I am inexperienced at this so I really couldn't make sense of it.) And verifying and reinstalling my game.
image.png.73f3a07d08c428bd9479db645bb992c8.png

Strangely, the Steam workshop's Haydee Overhaul (https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3046300050) Seems to fix the problem and allows me to talk to, and recruit the Haydee MK. Zeta, but creates a puzzling new one. Before, she used to be nude with just high heels, but now, she starts nude with no high heels, and seemingly grows a leotard and heels when... undressing?
image.png.cfa81f82eed88ca00a09062565688e1c.png

I don't know what caused this issue, or the new one, but I'm wondering if anyone has encountered the same; And if they have, how they kept recruitment dialogue without crashing the game or dealing with this problem. I just want a Haydee that can starts nude with heels and be recruited, if that makes any sense, because that is how (I assume) It's supposed to work. If the dialogue crashing w/o installing Overhaul could be fixed, that'd be the best possible solution, but it seems almost like no one really is dealing with this, or has this issue. Anything helps at this point.

(Also, throwing her in a cage and initiating dialog still crashes the game)

The next part should involve leaving the rest of her body colour in tone with her face, cue to more weeks of experimenting.  ( I also apologize for the mess of files inside this update, but I made it up by fixing the floating bits of the model)
