I did an update on The Cultist Acolyte walk animation, if anyone want to check it out or just update it.

The Animation updated: Faster animation, less head bobing, smoother dress movement and some minor bug fixes.

You'd need to tell me if you prefer my entire mod or just locs. Locs however probably made with my changes in them. 

And I will not be able to remember what the hell did I change, in some of the mods I changed like 10 lines of code in others 1k+ ^^

So it will be "as is". However I usually write annotations in info and effect files.

 

As to Ancient Ones I just downloaded it, oh hell this is truly abysmal, give me several days, even machine translation is crap for it.

I will have to retranslate entire thing by hand and my Chinese is rusty,

 

As to Offering wait like a day, I don't remember what I did but I remember I did something and I have it with skins and fixes packed somewhere.

I also did Fawn, Hood and Hollow I think... I will get back to you on that tomorrow.

In fact, am quite interested in rebalancing of the characters because I'd like to play classes in the original game. However, most of the time they're too OP:confounded:

I love the classes from Kaze and GhastRiv, but I lack ideas on how to balance these. So could you plz share a bit about the classes you've done? Particularly, Lilith, Orca and Livia;)(Yeah, I think all of GhastRiv's characters appeal to me)

It would be nice if you could give a general description of what changes have been made. Btw, English is not my first language, so I'd also like to know if your changes require me to localise them.

Orca is Warlock right? You should probably check Dan's topic for Orca stuff, this class is too complicated to touch I never did anything to it.

Livia and Lilith I have, Livia pretty much didn't need balancing it's pretty tame, Lilith I mostly reduced dmg. I already uploaded localization fixes for those.

If you really want my minimalistic rebalances of those I can upload those later, need to find and check the files.

Mesmer for Vanilla is almost good, just a bit more base dmg reduction and some heal/stress heal numbers reduction and it's usable. Still going to be stronger

than Vanilla classes just because it's very versatile and has tons of effects. 

 

Draconblood for Vanilla is still very much OP. I think I shared translation fix for it too, I don't use this class so I didn't further rebalance it.

You can do it yourself by reducing base dmg and reducing potency of direct HP damage effect by half. But if you want I can share it later along with

Livia and Lilith. Don't expect a proper rebalance, I only reduced numbers and didn't really touch most of the effects. 

 

Currently I'm a bit busy to dedicate enough time to check several classes so if you really want my very lazy rebalances, you'll have to wait, maybe for a couple of days.

Let me know if you'd rather do it yourself or you don't mind waiting.

This character was made with extremely white skin in mind so those lines would be invisible.

But if I had to guess on why stretching doesn't work it probably has something to do with .atlas file, 

you might want to mess with positioning there and hope it's not something to do with a skeleton.

Thanks for the tip, I found the solution. After running it through AaS's ColorFixer, it completely removed the lines.

Does anyone know if there's a tutorial out there for making Class mods or skins in DD? Can't wrap my head around how it all works and i seriously want to make some of the characters from BR into class mods.

Also try to figure out on your own expirience as much as you can - when you 1 time figuring out on your own "how this thing working" - all further similar moments will be easy and clear in future

 

Also dont be shy to ask some direct questions about target things - asking is helping to find targetly "what you have interest and problems/misunderstanding with", talking about "all at once" is really complicated usually  -

Helping to "grow up" another modder, even of "amateur" level, is alwayes giving benefits in future :)

Currently trying to modify the Warhawk thrall mod someone posted here a while back (trying to make it look better on screen as a starting point for understanding how to modify skins completely) Having a stroke trying to understand how positions of the individual parts of the png work for what part is on the atlas, but managed to gain some understanding of the XY thing with MS paint because my poor ass can't get photoshop. 

 

Does anyone know what size, orig, offset and index mean? don't know what those 4 are and i can see them on the sprite atlas.

If you talking about sprites with animations - you need or SPINE, or Dragonbone to work with it and edit it

"atlas" and "skel" files, and information inside them is for those programms to coordinate animations, mesh parts, positions and borders properly during animations

 

If you talking about static sprites - just edit it with GIMP (or what else programm "Photoshop-like" you say you using) as picture, with only rule "stay in borders of original")

Thanks again for helping, I'm beginning to understand what the numbers mean. It's annoying to try and position it right but i'm currently brute forcing my way into understanding it. Wish me luck.

I managed to throw the whole mmatron's model into the thrall, but she ain't moving for some reason.

Currently smashing my head against a wall.

 

I keep trying to convert the json file to skel after editing the animation name like the guy said, but it keeps giving me this

Are you exporting with Spine 2.1? Because I never got this kind of message, so I'm asking the basics.
