And how is the translation/balance? This is a complicated question because its half yes and half no. Most of Ghastrivs classes are "completed" in a sense you can play them without your game crashing. The Ancient Ones, Mesmer, Shambler Queen, Serona, Red Lotus, Scourge, Warlock, Livia and the known Lilith are all available on steam workshop or Kemono Party. However, Their completion/balance/localization end up typically done by someone else. As of the last three mods I would say the Ghastriv team has really stepped up their English localization & Balance Balance - in the base/vanilla game with the right trinkets you can still trivialize the game. However, none of them are "OP" from my perspective like say...Hepvier, Kalsit or Rugal, You won't be able to clear the entire dungeon with 1 class alone. That being said you CAN compose a team that is nearly unstoppable. Same as Vanilla. Translation - Needs work and/is typically done by someone else who is kind enough to take the time and go through the lines of text to sort things out English is not their teams primary language but they are getting MUCH better at implementing it. Beta/Full Release - when they hit the workshop they are considered fully released. The ones you find on Kemono Party or even the patreon are still works in progress. I created a new save with only Abigail activated and I was still able to play through the old road and reach the hamlet without issue. loading did take a little longer than usual but that was the only thing noticeable. I recommend just replacing the exe before making the rest of the changes. Hope that helps. 1

Seems like it was some caching issue I didn't know existed. Thanks for taking a look into this for me.

I've already created a test combat animation using DragonBone and have been told I need a "Spine Converter" to get it to function in the game. Unfortunately I've had no luck finding a good one and was hoping for some help. I already found this one https://github.com/brachna/SpineConverter2.1.27 but I was not able to get it to work (and yes I downloaded the python requirement). So... Does anyone know of any?

I extracted it into its own folder, tried to run the application, a black box appeared for a few seconds and then nothing. I tried creating a short cut, I tried putting my files in with the application; still nothing. What am I missing?

Hmmm unless you are using it differently... though there is a guide out there on how the conversion process work and you may take a look at here: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2200465472 Basically just go find the folder, copy ALL of it's contents, grab .skel, drag it to converter and have it turn to .json then you'll get to access it on dragon bones. (Highly recommend to check the link for the full breakdown) (Also I would suggest that you isolate them or make sure that they are in a separate folder, that way the conversion won't get confuse and you'll be able to keep track. Make sure to convert one at a time just to be safe and either delete or remove if you are going to be working on a new one.)

Every bit of advise and every guide I could find just said drag and drop the json into the converter. I finally figured out they all meant drop it into the spin converter "icon", which I've just been clicking on trying to open a program, thinking once I got it open the drag and drop thing would make sense. Unfortunately even with this revelation there is still a problem. The converter did create a .skel file for me but when I ran it through my skeleton viewer the pieces were all misaligned and warped into an unrecognizable abomination. So I think I'm still missing something, any ideas?

So I think I'm still missing something, any ideas? I dunno about the reverse... but when I put vanilla DD stuff through the converter, some images get resized. I think it's stuff without flexes? There's like a yellow type and a grey type, and only one of them gets fucked? ...It's the exact same scaling for all the pieces of an image, even if it varies image-to-image. I dunno, compiling and decompiling it, fixing it, and then recompiling it 'should' work...

Did you drag the .skel file to the converter and did it produce a .json file? Since you mentioned that you are using Dragon bones to edit them, in order to open a file and it's data, you need to have the .json file that the converter produced in order for them to load properly. https://youtu.be/crRu1PrCTnQ Here's a careful step by step process. If this is a matter of exporting the animation from dragon bones, then there was a section on the link I sent before where you would need to set type the "spine" and data version to 2.1 as well as image type to texture atlas. Afterwards, use the converter and basically it will just generate a new .skel file and rename all of them to fit the one's in the DD folders. If you did all of these properly, and despite this, nothing changed then perhaps you may reinstall or prepare all of the files again cause they really are sensitive with the files around them, it did happened to me once and but was manage to work around it (though I've only tested it and it partially work from my end, so I really don't have a say on this). I mean, if you are using another program to open them then there's a lot to consider cause the version that this spine was made of is outdated, from what I have heard which for now. The dragon bones process is much easier, from my perspective but if you can have the same version of spine that Red hook used then you would have an advantage on this.

Doodlecute Posted March 16, 2023 Posted March 16, 2023 OMG! I finally figured out the problem with my animations; or at least how to fix them. All the individual parts in my animation were the same size as I simply drew them on new layers in the same file. I don't understand why this is but all that excess dead space per part was confusing the file (it would look fine in DragonBone but break on conversion). To fix the problem I had to crop out the excessive dead space to each individual part of the animation. So with the problem solved I just wanted to thank everybody for the help, you're awesome.
