Logically, it'd be applied like a DLC, so implemented BEFORE third-party mods.

Relax, dude. It's nothing like that. It's just that the id of the ability changed from "shovel_bash" to just "bash", so it didn't know which icon to use. Here, I even changed the art.darkest file and it fixed it.
Many minor changes like that were made in the current version of Black Reliquary.

...Apologies. I tried to play Black Reliquary for testing purposes, and it has proceeded to piss me the hell off.

Since Black Reliquary added Riposte animations to every Hero, every Hero's .art file was changed. This isn't... technically, a problem, but Xelsword took the obvious step of making each attack use different animations, while the vanilla game has some overlap.

These two meant that some more of Xelsword's heroes needed edits to fix them, and with Black Reliquary functioning like the base game, there's no way to have it overwrite mods, and it cheesed me off, so...

Also, a few Flagellants replace the blood theme with milk, but the only one off the top of my head is also... painful.

Ay bro, I just want to take some time to thank you for your work, Easy to hear negativity (even if unintentional, such as bugs still being present of a mod for a mod, or things not correctly done) and thank you for doing alot of work people could easily take for granted, or for people who dont even know where to start with it. Not to end it as well, your always there for being an archives of files, and being an arbiter of knowledge. Thank you. With this done, I will now return to lurk once more.

I am sorry if I sounded rude, I just wanted to present the problems found with Xel's skins within the current Black Reliquary release since you created the port and I figured it was best to let your know about the errors in case you wanted to fix it or not. I appreciate you decided to port them to begin with so I was just trying to help.

That 'LL' ids it as a Lustiest Lair monster... but the Lustiest lair Brigand Slaver is called... LL_Slaver.

Maybe this is the fault of poor uninstallation of an old build of LL? I don't remember if they were ever called LL_Brigand_Enslaver.

Also, Vvulf is called 'Brigand_Sapper' so that is 900% NOT Vvulf.

what would you recommmend i do then? This is a fresh reinstall of the game and i havent reinstalled LL.

...If you've reinstalled the game... then I can only assume you manually installed LL into the core game files and then did not PROPERLY uninstall it.

When you tell a game to uninstall itself, it knows exactly what files it installed with, and will delete those files. If you added additional files to those folders, well...

Delete the entire DD folder and then reinstall.

THANK YOU ive spent at least most of a year stuck having LL always on no matter how many installs of vanilla DD i did to get the game running and now its fine.

That'll depend if he becomes interested in the Black Reliquary mod and then decide prioritize making them over the entire overhaul of skins he already showed... or if he opens commissions and someone pays him for it.

Watch some videos, watch some streams, watch some compilations. Literally, only you can decide if its worth. Although, You may experience problems if you have updated AMD drivers.

 

its 4$ USD right now (again) and i've played 1k hours so to me. Yes. ITS WORTH IT.

Always find it funny when people ask people in a community dedicated to a game, if the game is worth playing -- we're a little biased I'd imagine!

 

If you like turn-based dungeon crawlers with moderate amounts of artificial difficulty/rng/grinding, it's very good. Reminds me of stuff like XCom or Etrian Odyssey. stuff like that.
The art style is neat, the narrator is great, the plot is serviceable. Sometimes you get hit with streaks of awful luck, and you're probably going to lose a few characters over a play-through. Tons of rng that can only be partly mitigated. Stuff like item drops, hireable classes, miss %, character buffs and debuffs.

 

Also, it's very easy to mod. If you dislike certain things (weak skills, characters outleveling dungeons) you can just edit the text files to your liking.

Тебя даже вчерашний шторм не разбудил!
На самом деле сейчас если ты в России (и на сколько я понимаю в Украине тоже) способов оплаты патреона нету. Только если ты купишь вертуальную карту США например, но ты там типо на месяц возьмёшь карту за тыщи 2 и плюс ещё подписку должен будешь оплачивать. Иди лучше зайди на Kemono.Party.
