I also love the crusader. Enough that I'm probably gonna swap Xelsword skin for it.


On another note, a question for others: Why can't I use the skins I've added?
I put them in the mod folder for the fool, they're skins I found on this thread. I added directly to the fool's mod folder. The fool itself is working and Skin A and B too. I checked and there where the same number of files in all folder, so it's not a missing one.

I think you can only use 1 skin for each monster and u put it in the anim folder.

For others' future reference: Yes, that is all you need to do. Plop it into the same folder as the XML files, run it, and you're done. I've done several mod localizations and translations. That should be all you need to do to generate the files the game wants.

I found my loc.bat in the files of another mod, and that was how I figured out how to make it work, so I don't know where you're supposed to find the file. It's also been a while, so I might be forgetting a step, but I don't think I am.

The poetic irony is I have not been able to get the game to work since the .loc2 incident. Completely bricked, and I'll probably have to start all over from scratch. I am still mad. Not as mad as I am horifically suicidally depressed at the moment, but still mad.

You know, something about that seems extremely unsafe. If you change your password and tell them what it is so they can log into your account then they could change the password again while they were in there and not tell you what the new one is.

because 99% of the Chinese dialects are not that different in writing.

there is another way that might help.

 

1. Get a WeChat account. ( it's not an evil app, just like any other main stream social media app, but mostly used by Chinese, that's all) 

2. Find a Chinese in your local area. it doesn't really matter what he/she does, e.g. student, co-worker, tourist, random Chinese guy next door.

                                                                                     (if you can't, go search on the internet, pretty sure you can find some)

 

3. Ask him or her exchange some currency through WeChat (e.g. you give them your local currency in cash exchange for some Yuan￥ through WeChat

 

4. Now you have a Wechat account with ￥ in it.  you're good to go!
