Yep, I'm one of the creators of this mod (and Lustiest Lair) -- and for a little background on this lady, I ended up getting her animations made in perhaps the most difficult way possible, so she's been subject to a lot of delays/headaches.
 

Essentially I commissioned the priestess and her partner as PNGs, then got their PNGs cut by another person, then finally I'm getting them animated by someone else in Spine (since very few animators work with the specific version of Spine that DD needs) -- I'm working on that last stage now with my animator. And as you can see...uh...our priestess is a little too smol right now and some of the animations are out of sync. So, getting their scaling and alignment right is a bit tricky given that everything wasn't handled by the same person.

 

I'm optimistic for a release by the end of this month (or latest March) once we've gotten all the animation kinks worked out.

I'm very interested in picking up lustiest lair but having to crawl through modspace to get all the mods and skin replacers in feels terrible. Does anyone have a basic pack or am I doomed to a few hours of mod setup to get anything?

Damn... That does sound like a very big headache but by looking at this gif it most likely is very worth the wait and following headaches

Unfortunately yes, you'll have to scroll through all 234 pages to get all the skins to be released since DD still doesn't have its own section yet for some reason. Fortunately, there are mod packs floating around in this topic and some people here are more then willing to share said mod packs with you.
Also, Steam does have some good NSFW mods on there and there is a Steam mod downloader if you don't want to use Steam.

She looks good for the most part, certaintly better than anything I could create, but her head is too small for her body and the face is too young looking. Check out Xelsword's upcoming Flagellant release to get a better sense of what I mean. The head fits the body; and while Xelsword's Flaggelant remains youthful looking, he made her look mature enough that she doesn't look like a woman with a little girl's face.

I... don't agree with that face comment, personally. Xelsword's Flagellant is shaped better for sure but his style's bigger eyes and penchant for wide round cheeks (which happen to be hidden on this particular hero) give a lot of his characters a much more youthful impression than this priestess does, who has a longer face structure that is usually more indicative of a mature character.

So this is obviously not meant to be a real edit, head is misalligned, blurred, but I resized the head just to show where it should be at roughly in terms of size. She actually does look a bit more mature with the larger head, but hard to tell because it's blurry. Original pixel size of the head when I cropped it was 49x51. I sized it up to around 57x59, and that looks about right, give or take. Again, just for sizing purposes, not a real edit, the 2nd image looks much closer to where she should be for head/body ratio.

The proportions are a separate aspect that I actually agree with you on, I was talking exclusively about the whole youthful face thing. If anything increasing the head size relative to the body typically makes a character appear younger, not older - but DD's vanilla art style does mean you kind of need to go bigger headed in order to not look out of place.

I was looking over the copypasta, editing and adding links where new stuff had come out, and then I realized I'd need to add sections for the backgrounds and Heroes, and finally just yelled 'Fuck it!'

So here. Fresh from my install. Everything you need to make LL go yes, in a nice modular package. The only thing missing is LL itself, because that updates semi-frequently and should be gotten from the source if at all possible.

Drop all these mods in your Darkestdungeon/mods folder, sort your load order so that LL's main mod is on top, with the CC addon on top of that and the Golden addon on top of that. Don't activate the Musketeer, as I replaced the Arbalest with her because redundancy and none of the mods I could find to make them unique didn't make one of them vastly superior to the other. Don't activate the CC addon if you aren't running CC. Dan, preemptively go fak yourself I don't care.

The only thing of note is the mummified corpse? I couldn't for the life of me reskin it, and then proceeded to fucking lose the medium-effort anime reskin I was trying to replace it with, so... eh.

Oh yeah, and I rolled back the change allowing the player to choose the target of the slaver's yoink. It goes against the spirit of DD, you know? If it takes fucking Earth Enchanter and piledrives your squad into paste, tough shit don't bring broken classes if you aren't ready to have them used against you.

I have the game through gog so no steam workshop for me.

 

I'll probably get to it at some point. All I really need is a pack of replacers for the vanilla characters to get started.

Edit: is there a name generator mod or is this something mods can't do? I'd like to have fitting names for all my girls!

Localization files terrify me, I can do nothing with them.

In Darkestdungeon/Localization, there is a text document called names.string_table.xml.

In it is every single possible random hero name... Also Reynauld and Dismas, of course, but I believe these entries go unused.

LL already has a replacement file that alters all names to be female-leaning, so new random names will be feminine.

I think it also renames Reynauld and Dismas, but I can't remember if I rolled that back... wherever it's defined, I think I found it once...

To my knowledge, there is no mod that adds a 'random name' button, so you might be out of luck for older saves.

I do kind of agree here -- it's a very Darkest Dungeon specific thing where all of the characters have a big head in proportions with the rest of their body. Originally I planned on getting the Priestess commissioned with a larger head (but the sketch looked really weird) and ultimately went with a "normal" sized head.
 

Of course, now that it's in-game, her being the same size as the heroes and having a "normal-sized" head seemed out of place. So, I decided to have the animator scale her up so her details are more clear. And I think it worked out! Especially since it's in flavor with all of the other humanoid bosses being much larger than the heroes, (such as the Necromancer/Prophet).
