Installing a body preset for Unique Player??

IIt's in my SliderPresets in my data folder, but I just cannot make it work. How do you install a bodyslide preset and make it work for unique player? I have 3 presets that seem to be RANDOMLY selected to work and I do not want any of them. 

I installed a body slide preset, and I cannot get it to appear AT ALL. Apparently doing groups doesn't do anything and I can't find a single result on Google even 1/10th related to my issue.



I don't want those 3 presets, I want the one I just downloaded

If you are using Unique Player, have a look here at Unique Player Bods.  This includes slider sets that will output the completed body in the folder: ..Data\Meshes\Actors\Character\PlayerCharacterAssets.

 

Alternatively, you can modify any existing slider set file to do the same.

<SliderSet name="Unique Player CBBE Body">
        <DataFolder>CBBE</DataFolder>
        <SourceFile>CBBEBody.nif</SourceFile>
        <OutputPath>Meshes\Actors\Character\CharacterAssets</OutputPath>

CHANGE the last line to:

<OutputPath>Meshes\Actors\Character\PlayerCharacterAssets</OutputPath>

Alternatively, you could do it "the old fashioned" way, of building the body you want, then moving it from '..Data\Meshes\Actors\Character\CharacterAssets' to '..Data\Meshes\Actors\Character\PlayerCharacterAssets' manually, but that's a bit laborious.

I've tried changing the last line and I got a crash to desktop. I'm using Unique Player.

the way I did it was I unzipped the unique player mod.  Using body slide and made the regular body in the game the preset I wanted for the player.  Then copied that NIF from characterassets, and pasted it into the unique player mod, replacing the body in it.  I then zipped the unique player mod back up and installed it.  

 

remember to use bodyslide again, to make the game body for everyone else back to whatever preset you want
