What would a suitable reward be if they manage to win?  Possible rewards: A. a pair of http://fallout.wikia.com/wiki/Authority_glasses modded to add a nice benefit (+1 luck or other special, +crit chance, or maybe even magical stealth field-providing powers!) B. prostitute/source (sourcetitute?) npc that you can send to different places/towns to earn you dem caps (collect on a weekly basis maybe) and maybe also provide useful info about upcoming missions assuming the pc has them in the right spot?  Comedy option: all the booze the player can carry plus matching amounts of jet, buffout, med-x, etc.

The other suggestions are a bit out-of-character considering who the questgiver is in this particular situation.

Â Part 1 The Children of the Cathedral stole a medical shipment meant for the Followers of the Apocalypse and are holding it in a hospital. Stealth mission or "service" their Nightkin and they'll hand it over. Suprise obstacle being innocent hostages that will negatively effect your karma if they die. Â Part 2 You're told some of the Followers have been kidnapped by the Children to be sacrificed to the Dark God. Slaughter as the main option. Sex option if your character is a virgin and passes a charisma check (7+), she offers to take the place of one of the kidnapees, dragged to a dungeon/jail type area then work their way out from there. Â Part 3 Infiltrate the actual Cathedral (http://fallout.wikia.com/wiki/Cathedral) and kill their leader. All 3 options valid somehow.

Â In other news, if you can write dialogue I need you! I'm trying to include actual voice acting in the mod and will have access to actual professional-level voice recording equipment for a limited time only. So I need as much dialogue written as quickly as possible so I can get it recorded before it's too late. So I'm just bumping this to ask that anyone with quest ideas please post them here and anyone who would like to try their hand at writing dialogue, please PM me for details.
MisterCandy Posted January 17, 2014 Posted January 17, 2014 I kind of dislike the idea of a secret service that is unrelated to any of the major factions ingame, can't the agency simply be secret service of the NCR? Few other factions ingame have the amount of resources available for that kind of organization, and it wouldn't really make sense with an independent agency working on its own without funding (unless discovering who is behind it is part of the plot). Even if you would go with the NCR solution operations against the NCR could still make sense as it could be the result of politicans in the NCR trying to discredit each other/the militairy/whatever because it suits their own political ambitions. Enough about that, a plot hook ive previously been thinking about doing on my own:Plot: A wealthy NCR brahmin baron has contacted the agency. He wants two tribal tribes (Honest hearts style - real tribals) off the lands he just bought in order to use the pastures for his cattle. In the other hand, the tribals have used the area as hunting grounds for generations and care little about concepts such as ownership. As far as they are concerned, the land belongs to no one. Â Hook: The scenario could be expanded as much or little as will still be manageble. The PC could infiltrate one of the tribes, get them to accept her after some rigorous initiation rituals. Now the real challenge will be for the pc to initiate a feud between the two tribal tribes (or possibly, one tribal tribe and a civilized trading post). Either the pc can seduce the war cheif and manipulate him, or ruin the own tribes supplies and leave traces of members of the other tribe, blaming them. Finally, before going to war, the tribals have a mating ritual as part of their customs, as it would be a bad omen to proceed without it. The PC can either participate with several members of the tribe and risk wasteland herpes/pregnancy, pass up on the custom with a speech check ("The Gods spoke to me in a vision, told me to preserve my strenght") or trick/kidnap some other poor gal to take her place. Â Sinker: When the smoke clears and one of the tribes are dealt with, the PC can either choose to encourage the tribe to become true nomads and seek out new lands (the barons will never leave them be, after all) or slaughter them to the last man, perhaps by poisoning their water supply (An alternative route could be to side with the tribe). When all is done, the twist is that the baron has become infatuated with the strength of the pc and refuses to pay up unless the PC marries him. (Sucks to be you!)
zippy57 Posted January 17, 2014 Author Posted January 17, 2014 If you're thinking about doing this idea on your own, keep in mind that I am an incredibly slow modder and if you wait around for me you probably could have been able to make it yourself several times over.

I probably will be making the mod regardless, but I wouldnt mind having you taking the idea and making it your own. The results will probably still be two entirely different mods. Your project seems very interensting btw, looking forward to it.
