mrrakkonn Posted October 20, 2017 Posted October 20, 2017 You should probably just try your hand at it yourself. It's not really all that difficult. I'd say to start with you want a good picture from the front straight on, and a good profile shot. Then choose the preset that best approximates what you want (I'd recommend looking at the chin and cheeks and getting them to slightly match, when choosing a preset) and work from there, then all you need is a little bit of patience and attention to detail. Most of my attempts to outright copy appearances have failed, but working from a reference of some sort, even if you don't get the look exactly right, often gets you the best faces or at least a very good basis upon which to build further.

Maybe we should try to make a mobile photos from the screen with some sims on it? Hey, are you joking?! Or do you ask to make sims out of photos from rl people? Photo realistic? Share this rl photos public at LL is not allowed so far as I know. So just do this PM and with the permission of the persons on the photos, pleeease! As mrrakkonn said - it is not so difficult to do this yourself. If you do not try this yourself you always have to ask for every sim you like to have in game. You can play Sims for hundreds of years - to create sims is not the same thing! I do not play so much - but I puzzle sims and do makeovers. You know Candy and Yuko Behr? I prefer them looking like that - untouched bones
TomatoEddie Posted October 21, 2017 Posted October 21, 2017 Mariana Soprano, i insist: your Sims look gorgeous! i understand you, Depeche99: my sims they all look alike! my towns end up resembling a Stephen King's horror story where all inhabitants are somehow genetically connected to a patriarch — as if they were their offspring (King's short story "Jerusalem's Lot"). so i do gather Sims from several sources (MTS, TSR, here, etc.) and study them — try to understand what their creators did and how they worked. hence i second mrrakkonn's post: "you should probably just try your hand at it yourself. Do not think I m a crack or got a good pc – just a minimum laptop – no HQ mod in use / no Photoshop in use – just paint.net (this is for free). I play S4 since July 2017 (S3 just since autumn 2015 – my first mods I used in early 2016...) The modders are the real artists. If someone likes to have realistic sims... it relays just in hunting after well done CC and other mods and a hole matter of time and interest. A Clay sims costs me roundabout 30 minutes – an Alpha styled some hours. If I like to got a special hairstyle some days or weeks. For Candys Bob hairstyle I waited a looong time. And I was so happy Anto made the one with the knot some days later (this week). So I could complete this nice sisters. I do not share my sims files (I do not load up anything but screenshots, respectiing the T.O.U of my beloved CC creators) – the list of the used CC is really long – because they are complete in every outfit. For the “sleep”wear my sims all got a more or less second naked outfit. This sisters... oups little cum princesses today... I had to put them back in CAS to mod the teeth. But it is Saturday night and my sims got fever... and some fun – I guess I better take care of them now.
