Still, so were a lot of good ones at first...

 

I have derived a great deal of enjoyment from the various permutations of whoopee made possible by Sexlab and its subsidiaries, but I can't help feeling it all gets a bit businesslike and leave-the-money-on-the-sideboard at the end of a scene. I admit it, I'm an Amorous Adventures kind of a girl, and I can't help wondering if there could be such a thing as an afterglow animation. You know, where the participants just lie there and sort of bask for a short time. It could end after a set time or (if possible) be terminated when the player presses a key, and *then* they could be all well-Ysmir's-Beard-is-that-the-time-must-press-on-same-time-next-Morndas and get back to the hacking and/or slashing.

 

Does this seem too hopelessly stupid, or would it enhance immersion?

I was very surprised that this feature has never been introduced proper and it's always unnerving and infinitely unsexy how at the end of the animation everyone pops straight up and briskly strolls away. Don't even get me started with the ragdoll ending and its tendency to defenestrate one or more of the participants.

 

Struggling with SexlabUtil and using some of the animations from Estrus, I managed to get something workable going at one point but it's hardly smooth transition or without its issues.

 

I'd think a proper implementation of this would be trivial for anyone with modding chops.

unless you just want some kind of weird anim in a tacked on stage

 

I think of AA scenes there's not much latitude for afterglow with most of the set ups though, unless the phrase "the hidden treasure between your thighs" makes you swoon like a victorian virgin, aside from Serana or Mjoll... *shrug* Though it could be the Romance Mod level of "dialog" which would probably even give Stephanie Meyer a nosebleed so maybe you're on to something.

This is kinda where osex came in for me.   Osex does great cuddling and love play.... SL has great action and functionality.

SL has hooks already available where you can probably plug in this kinda stuff through after events, you can probably even use SSX to create a rule to go into something like this.   There may be very few anims for SL that tackle cuddling though.

 

I do agree that it would be nice for SL to do this on its own as a fire and forget style similar to foreplay, but I think at this point... it's pretty much packaged as is and limited to keep mod compatibility. Still, one can always hope and wish.

How did you do that, i've tried using animation from seslab Defeat but i cant get it to work

Looks like I was using the estrus animations in defeat, been a while.

 

Cmd=sae:DefeatEstrusExhaustedFront+wait:30+sae:DefeatTraumaExit

 

or 

 

Cmd=sae:DefeatEstrusExhaustedBack+wait:30+sae:DefeatTraumaExit

 

...seemed to work. Sometimes. I'm so bad at this I gave up and there's not a lot of useful info in the mod's thread either.

Where did you find animation event in ck, i go to gameplay > animations, but it is not a ideal place to find anim event IMO

It's great to know I'm not the only one who's been thinking about this...

 

Shout LIke A Virgin looks like fun, but I'm on SSE and it's not there yet, I think.

 

I will keep looking, and maybe ask Vinfamy or Nibbles if I can work up the nerve.
