Vuulgar Posted September 19, 2017 Posted September 19, 2017 I cant seem to access the Nakano residence even though I have the quest. I can even search Nakano in console and find all the proper entries but when I attempt to go there I get the "you cannot go that way" message. I have tried to coc to the Nakano place and it appears to take the command without error but nothing happens and I got a Railroad dead drop quest that takes place in Far Harbor according to the marker at the edge of the map but the quest just says "eliminate hostiles at" with no destination. Nuka World radio wont play but I can get to the hub and get on the monorail but the game crashes as I ride it toward NW. I have verified the game through Steam with no change to either. I have done Automatron to completion with no issues. It seems very odd to me that I can see the assets for both in console commands as that would imply they are installed (which I have looked and both are listed as installed)

To get to Nuka World, there is a path you must walk. By "walk" I mean literally walk......

Its just not there even though the dlc is installed. Same with NW, it ctd on the monorail at the turn just after the recording talks about Fiztop Mt. I felt like the railroad quest not having any location listed should be a clue also but I am not seeing the problem. I am guessing a mod conflict but I cant find anyone else in this same situation, most are as you describe, just not walking the correct path. I have dropped out several mods and started a fresh game, hopefully I can narrow it down. edit- I am down to about 25 mods from 125 and it lets me walk right on past, I will start tomorrow checking them 2 or 3 at a time...sometimes I dont like games and mods as much as other times....
KoolHndLuke Posted September 20, 2017 Posted September 20, 2017 Start a new char and immediately try to go to either. Also try running the game in offline mode for steam. When you restart pc just go to the menu and quit and then restart it and try to play.

When you restart pc just go to the menu and quit and then restart it and try to play. I did this and could not access the path to Nakano so I shut off almost everything and began turning on a few at a time. Eventually I found deactivating Fallout 4 HD Reworked Project Revised https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/15945/? made it possible for me to use the path. I havent tried NW yet but I am hopeful. This is a popular mod and after skimming the comments section I found no one else listing this issue so I am assuming its a mod conflict more than just this mod but I have no idea how to figure that out....I am just glad its working again. Thanks for the ideas and input.

Making patches for these conflicts is not really hard- just a little tricky depending on the mods in question.

Alright, thanks for the info, I will do some reading on it and see if I can figure it out, thanks!
