Rogue_Kitsune Posted September 16, 2017 Posted September 16, 2017 Hey folks! Pretty straightforward request here: Do any of you have any recommendations for a good winter outfit for a female character (preferably for UNPB or UUNP)? I've finally started actually playing Skyrim, instead of just modding it, and between running Frostfall and wanting to keep things semi-plausibly "realistic", I'd really like to have something that looks like it would actually keep my character warm while wandering around in the snow. I've tried looking myself, but it's pretty difficult to find anything non-skimpy. So, any recommendations would be appreciated!
y_sengaku Posted September 16, 2017 Posted September 16, 2017 Check Frostfall Aware version of FurArmorSet(FrostFall Aware) [Added]: I'm not 100% sure whether Blanket Scarf and its two retexture mods (this one and that one) is by default recognized by Frostfall, but you may be able to configure settings via Frostfall's MCM.
Darkpig Posted September 16, 2017 Posted September 16, 2017 The wayfarer's coat is pretty nice.https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/73040/?
SmedleyDButler Posted September 17, 2017 Posted September 17, 2017 +1 for the big coats in fur armour set. They're great. Wayfarer's coat is alright but I hate the way the sleeves flare out.
Rogue_Kitsune Posted September 17, 2017 Author Posted September 17, 2017 Both great suggestions, thank you! I had to edit the Wayfarer coat a bit; Bodyslide butchered the zero weight mesh, unsurprisingly, but I was able to redo that slider in Outfit Studio without too much trouble, and now it's good! And that fur coat does look great - I'd been using the Northgirl set, since it has an all white option that's good for trying to blend in with the snow, but it really didn't look like it'd keep anyone very warm - throw one of those fur coats on over it, though, and it's perfect!
