I haven't played it for awhile now as I haven't really seen anything in it to make me play it. Only minor nudity that I have seen. Unity player games at times seem to lag and are quite the resource whore.

Nothing to do with Unity, just that Unity attracts a lot of amateur developers who have no idea how to optimize their games

I think OP is experiencing what I did last time I tried the game.  The Developer explained that the basic module required to play the game is not included in the download.  It wants you to be online and open up your firewall permissions so it can check for the latest version.   You only need to launch the game online and it will download the required files, after which you can go off-line and lock up your firewall and the game plays fine.  I'm not comfortable with a system like that because it presumes a level of trust on my part which I don't have for anybody, not even Microsoft (maybe especially Microsoft).  The discussion is in the House Party thread, but it is probably buried about 12 pages deep now since He doesn't seem to post here much since it went live on Steam.
