Hello guys, good day. ..  I've been working on this dwarven armor for the past few weeks... . . I am using the zap slider tool and doing it by trial and error. .
why trial and error? because sometimes the part becomes missing even if it is not selected to be removed. . . and right now Im stuck with this

My goal is to remove the blue part but for some reason some parts in the red area are affected and sometimes the whole mesh is affected. . (By affected, I mean destroyed, deleted or broken)
I already requested some thing like this before here a month ago but the result i got is, the _0 and _1 version dont have the same vertices and when I use the _0 or _1 for both weight the problem with this occur >> http://www.loverslab.com/topic/83443-need-help-in-armor-mashup/

so could anyone please help me. . Im stuck :(

Well. I was going to just export from the Nif in NifSkope as an OBJ, then delete the parts in Zbrush. Other people prefer to do it in Bodyslide though. I don't know what to tell you but I get an error with this file when launching NifSkope and Zbrush tells me that the OBJ is corrupted when trying to import it.

If you can upload a working OBJ, I can delete and or separate stuff within a few minutes in Zbrush, but you will need to fix the texture files.

Open the nif in nifskope click the mesh and go to file - export - .OBJ. If you have blender you can then load that .OBJ file up into blender right click the mesh and then go down to the tab that has object mode in it at the bottom and change it to edit mode then hit P and select separate loose this'll break up the mesh into however many parts there are for the item. Somethings will not split if they are one solid piece. Hold down the shift key and click pieces that go to one piece and then hit J to fuse the parts you want back into one piece. Export 1 piece at a time making sure to delete the rest out before export or it'll cause part to blow up in outfit studios if there is more then 1 in a file one export. Load those files into outfit studios make sure the to redo the weight painting and adding the required bone nodes to the items.

1) Open file in OutfitStudio (latest version required).

2) Press C (this toggle "only connected" mode).

3) Mask that you need (blue part, use maximum size brush, just click once).

4) Invert mask.

5) Delete vertices (shape -- delete vertices).

7) Do this again for another mesh.

Profit!

P.s. btw, looks like this files for SSE, not SE.
