Character's face looks bloated and out of proportions

So..v2 is how it's supposed to look, but whatever I try, I only get this bloated mess of a face. 

Already tried using a different headmesh (Ran's Type C) but it didn't make any difference

 

It's really driving me mad.

 

Using Mod Organizer.

The different head mesh that you said you tried, which folder did you change the head mesh?  I think you're supposed to change the head mesh in data\meshes\actors\character\facegendata\facegeom\(x).

 

Just grab v2 directly from the mod and force it into that folder.  I dunno, works for me when I screw around with faces.  Good luck.

So..I reinstalled everything with NMM, and the problem pretty much persists. I just get these weird proportions and nothing looks as it should. :/

Reinstalled Skyrim multiple times now. Only installed RaceMenu and requirements + preset requirements.

EVERY preset looks like a bloated mess and I don't know what to do...

 

Even the ingame vanilla presets look nothing like they should.

Oh!  It's only a preset.  For some reason I thought it was a follower.  LMAO. Here, this video helped me out a lot when I messed around with the player character's face.  Good luck!  Looking at your mods, I can't tell if you have these plugins but I have all of them so maybe you can cross-check to see if you have them in case you're having more problems:  RaceMenu.esp, RaceMenuMorphsCBBE.esp (or whichever body you use), RaceMenuPlugin.esp, and RaceMenuPluginXPMSE.esp (requires XPMSE).

Honestly..I appreciate people trying to help. But...these obvious things...Yes, I have all the RaceMenu plugins installed and active. Yes, I have all the required mods for RaceMenu installed and active. And Yes, I have all the required mods for the presets installed and active.

 

This is like the 5th install of Skyrim now, and faces still look like shit.

Only issue is...none of any of the presets I chose worked. I tried with about 10 of them now. Faces always look like a mess. I've got nothing installed other than RaceMenu (and what's required to make it work), and the preset requirements.

 

It's getting very frustrating :c

I did another completely fresh install (cleaned out registry and everything else even remotely belonging to Skyrim and NMM), picked a preset and went **exactly** how the tutorial told me, with nothing else installed but RaceMenu, RaceMenu prerequisites, and required mods for preset. Face STILL looked freakish.

Tried with the first preset again...on another fresh install. Installed everything needed in the correct order.

I mean..am I taking crazy pills or does the face really look quite bloated and..just odd? This is pretty much with every preset so far. It all looks very cartoonish and  weird.

 

Does Skyrim just hate me and magically fuck up anything I do with mods?
