w5byy5b Posted July 17, 2017 Posted July 17, 2017 After not being able to find a mod that allows me to wear clothing realisticly, ie wear panties, bra, socks/hose, skirt, shirt, armor at the same time. I have decided to attempt it myself. I have tinkered in CK before, but this will be a new experience for me. I have found a few mods that do simalar things but nothing quite what I am wanting. Which makes me think that this idea is not feasable? Why are there so few mods that do this? I guess I am just looking for advice from any one experienced in the CK or that has created clothing or armor before. Am I wasting my time, can this not be done properly? Thank you. EDIT: Also if someone could point me in the right direction of how armor slots work in game
BringtheNoise Posted July 17, 2017 Posted July 17, 2017 If you use UUNP then you might want to check out the Black Lace Mini Dress Collection over on Nexus. http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/70280/? It has modular Bra, Panties, Stockings, Garterbelt, Heels, Dress. Each one takes up a different slot and can be worn together or separately.

This looks to be along the lines of what I am wanting. If nothing else I will be able to learn from it to do my own thing. Varithina Posted July 18, 2017 Posted July 18, 2017 Something similar to this but for skyrim, http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/6091/?. It may be worth seeing how they did it from the paperwork and looking at how it could be changed for skyrims system.
Frankfranky Posted July 18, 2017 Posted July 18, 2017 If you want to do this yourself ... omg you are setting off down a very very deep rabbit hole Nightassay made an excellent and very comprehensive video series on how to make custom armors for Skyrim. All 80 something episodes. I will find you a link to the first one. It is a really excellent series. By the end you will understand modelling, nifs, nifskope, texturing, weight painting, everything you need to know. Don't be put off by his recommendation that you use 2012 versions of the software. 3dsMax 2017 will work perfectly. There are nif tools and plugins for it that are completely up to date. You will be able to follow along step-by-step. (don't try to do this with Blender. I know that is a red-rag-to-the-bull for all the Blender devotee's on this board ... but don't try to do it with Blender. Life is too short) See you in a few months .
w5byy5b Posted July 18, 2017 Author Posted July 18, 2017 Wow that video series... I have watched about 6 of them and then said to myself "right, lets do this". Looks to be very informative. I will see how I get on.
