sila Posted June 18, 2017 Posted June 18, 2017 I have been trying out several combat mods and they all seem to make combat entirely too fast. I want a mod that improves enemy ai, the ones I have tried are Wildcat, Combat evolved, and duel combat realism (awful mod.... not touching that again), Revenge of the enemies and a few others. The problem with those mods is that combat is just too fast. Either I one shot everything with my fire spells before they get to me or I get one shotted the second they are in range of me, this is incredibly annoying but at the same time the vanilla combat is just terrible too, enemies act like they are completely retarded. Are there any combat mods that only affect how aggressive the enemies are and not how much damage is dealt?
Kriegera Posted June 18, 2017 Posted June 18, 2017 Yep this one changes the enemies AI to make them far more aggressive without increasing damage or anything else. http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/73172/?

km1102 Posted June 19, 2017 Posted June 19, 2017 i think you should try Ultimate Combat: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/36006/?
Darkpig Posted June 22, 2017 Posted June 22, 2017 The problem isn't too fast combat. It is from bad gameplay mechanics. The Attack Dedication mod is worth checking out: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/70079/? It changes the melee combat so attacks from enemies can actually be dodged by replacing the stupidly absurd ability to change direction 180 degrees mid swing to something that is more followed through. It also affects you so you might need to aim a bit. Take Ultimate Combat like the person above me said and you'll be that much closer to the action RPG Skyrim was supposed to be.
