DoctaSax Posted July 21, 2012 Posted July 21, 2012 Is there a way to modify sunny smiles apperance using mojave delight without breaking her following package? Unless you want all npcs & player to use mojave delight textures, chances are you're best off making a custom race that points to those resources. You should be able to find a few tutorials here & there on how to do that. You'll end up with a new esp containing a new race, and a record for sunny smiles saying she belongs to that race. If you're feeling adventurous you can make her have some of MD's hair & eyes too. Then use FNVEdit to make a patch esp, combining the AI & whatever else data from the companion mod, and the race and looks stuff from your race esp. It takes some doing if you're not used to it, of course, but it's doable.
KainsChylde Posted July 21, 2012 Posted July 21, 2012 This will help http://newvegas.nexusmods.com/mods/38413 Full instruction manual for FNV Edit.
GSBmodders Posted July 21, 2012 Posted July 21, 2012 the problem I have with fnvedit is being color blind i simply cannot read some it. It's a damn shame too seems like a must have utility for me since I would love to patch the changes I made to sunny
KainsChylde Posted July 21, 2012 Posted July 21, 2012 I am not 100% certain, but I *think* you can make it bold or underline things in place of the color coding.

[/quote'] a way to make it black and white would be what i need, i played around with things a bit but all i accomplished was to make things worse. i'll have another go at later and see what if anything can be done to improve it.
Guest Loogie Posted July 22, 2012 Posted July 22, 2012 Be sure to change the folder name with her sounds in it, else she won't talk for her companion dialog.
prideslayer Posted July 22, 2012 Posted July 22, 2012 GSB if the source for FNVEdit is available (I haven't seen it, but maybe) I'd be more than happy to add some high-viz/colorblind friendly settings to it. Also you might be able to do something about that in the windows accessibility area, though I think that's more for outright blind/deaf people. Final thought.. you can just look at one type of conflict at a time. This is slow going for sure, but there wouldn't be any question about what kind of difference you're looking at if you only show them individually.

[/quote'] what i'm pretty much stuck doing at the moment is a copy paste of each line so i can look at it in a friendlier environment. At least the fnvedit guide is written in a way that makes it easier for me to read and If all else fails I can always say screw it, it would not be the first project i dumped i may just dump it anyway my first thought was that New Vegas Redesigned 2 might be a solution to a project halstrom suggested here http://www.loverslab.com/showthread.php?tid=9911 but after looking at the nvr esm again and reading through halstrom's thread i'm thinking that while it would work it would simply be to much work. I like what dracomies has done but it doe's not look practical for use with what halstrom wants to bring to sexout so if i continue on with this i think it will be as a personal project
