Hallo~

 

So I just wanted to pop in here and ask this question to see if anyone's got some advice or maybe knows something I am not understanding. I have returned to modding after a 5 year hiatus. Additionally this is my first foray into race-editors and body modding, so I could be well out of date and inexperienced at this point. Forgive me for any ignorance. I have tried to educate myself before coming here to ask for help.

 

So I was using this mod as a base to create a femboy body for a character I wanted to use: 

 

I downloaded it, and I got all the requirements and made sure they were up to date. I had some trouble with SOS though, but I found the dl update that brings it up to speed with current AE Skyrim, and I didn't struggle with the "dl not found" error. I worked out the kinks, made sure the boyo was naked and had his pp. I then decided to go into the bodyslider and edit the femboy body to something that would fit the tastes I wanted from this style of body for my game. I edited the body with the sliders, used the tutorial to use the "build" tool on each of the femboy body types. That included the default, physics and underwear bodies (I don't plan on using the Khajit). Then I made sure to do a "bash" build for all the armor types. I only did those listed as femboy and left the CBBE alone since I want to leave the female body types alone.

 

This is where I started having problems. The preset I had made was never applied to the body, and the femboy in the game retained his default body type. No matter what I did I could not get this to change. I went into the outfit editor and changed the paths. I personally copy and pasted the nif's into the femboy folder. I copy and pasted them into the meshes/actors/character/characterassets folders, nothing. Not even the normal females changed to indicate I had done something wrong. I changed load order several times, uninstalled and reinstalled the mod. Uninstalled Body Slide and reinstalled it. I even restarted my computer to see if an earlier major update I had done was interfering with my computer. I am not sure if there's an AV at play here (I don't have any downloaded AV). I thought I had allowed these files for my Windows Firewall. I also rewatched a few guides and reread a couple of guides just to see if I missed anything. I may have.

 

So i'm a bit stumped, I have just uninstalled the Femboy Reborn mod for now and I am looking at other options in case I have to fully abandon this avenue (Helblar's stuff seems like a good alternative). Though I honestly was pretty happy with the original mod and preset I had installed. The only thing I needed to work on was making the nipples and breasts more puffy and perky. They were kind of jagged.

This is Deimobos from Nexus/The Irregulator from the HIMBORD Discord, I'm working on some new presets for HIMBO v5 Presets - Femboy Body Project, and fixing the old ones now that Himbo v525 is up. The new sliders Kreis made actually have helped out a lot in fixing them and the old ones mainly just need tweaks to the upper torso before they roll out. If you have reference art/photos that you want made into a preset, you can ping me with it on HIMBORD, and I'll take a crack at trying to recreate them.

For female body base femboys, its usually a mishmash of these and their requirements https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/37903

For a male body base, its all over the place for HIMBO body mods but people have been tweaking presets with HIMBORD only v525 version, and for the screenshots with SAM body its probably the redone Bochu V2 race on Savren's page on Vector Plexus/vectorplexis (the new website goes by "plexis" instead of "plexus")

I would suggest waiting for the release of the Ube bungalow body. It will allow you to create any body, including a femboy. It's currently in the testing phase, but the results are still impressive.

I'm looking for someone to test a texture mashup I'm experimenting with. I got a question about more masculine chest textures for Vaginaless 3BA like the ones you can get from Thanosfarmer's Androgyny CBBE Preset, so I decided simply to try and mix them with my current Fair Skin Complexion patch.

 

If you install Vaginaless 3BA v2.1, Fair Skin Complexion, the Vaginaless 3BA body texture patch for Fair Skin Complexion and then replace the diffuse and normal maps in the patch with the ones found in this archive:

 

androgyny test.7z

 

you should end up with more masculine body textures that should still be compatible with any of the three vaginaless schlongs and their respective FSC texture patches.

 

I'm curious how these will look in game since I had to do some colour editing on Thanosfarmer's original textures because they were saved with some weird washed out colour space.

This may not be exactly what you're looking for, but maybe it will help answer your question?

 

To elaborate: Normally I use a self-modified set of FairSkin normal maps with self-modified BijinSkin diffuse textures for my personal femboy race. For the TRX "Futanari" Schlong, I use your FairSkin normal maps with your BijinSkin diffuse. It creates a perfect (seamless) match for what I wanted in my custom race as shown on the very left photo.

 

I downloaded your "androgyny test", but only used the normal map as I no longer really use my self-modified FairSkin diffuse and instead use BijinSkin (as mentioned above). Your normal map test is pictured on the other three photos. The schlong continues to be seamless, along with the neck and ankles. However, there is a mismatch between the wrists and I'm unsure why. Overall a great fit right out of the box (except for the wrists) and looks really nice for anyone who wants a more soft, less muscular appearance.
