AutoLink 3.30

Hey guys I had to reinstall Windows 10 and now I can't get DOA5LR to work with Autolink. Well I actually can get autolink 3.10 or 3.30 to work but only if I delete the d3d9.dll file that comes with autolink. Problem is that without the d3d9.dll file the game defaults to 720p and won't enforce my graphics settings on the INI file. I also have all the DLLs required in the sys32 folder, etc. I would think that version 1.10c is detecting autolink 3.30 since it came out way after... but some people here are saying the game works just fine?

 

Running version 1.10c of the game with all the dlc and etc. 

If I try to run the game with the d3d9.dll file than I get "The application was unable to start correctly (0x ... 7b)"

 

Any ideas?

1.10c has two version, 1.10c and 1.10cP1. And game.exe of 1.10cP1 should have exact same size and date as:

If "kinda like that" or "very close" then Click "UNINSTALL GAME" or "VERIFY INTEGRITY OF GAME FILES" from DOA5LR's Property window from Steam client then reinstall DOA5LR.

Unlike GOG, there is no choice in Steam and will send your computer the most recent version 1.10cP1. Check game.exe again. If still different date and value even right after the reinstall then something wrong with your computer. The answer and solution should be from Microsoft, not here.

Autolink requires its d3d9.dll and should work with 1.10c or 1.10cP1. How to check and how to fix is same as above:

The game.exe of 1.10cP1 should have exact same size and date as:

 

-a----       2017/12/12     10:20       17260664 game.exe

Thanks for the help but turns out my sys32 folder permissions were borked. After I fixed that the game stopped complaining about the d3d9 and started right up no issues. Everything is working fine now.

Thanks for replying. Your instructions didn't help me, but I was still able to get AutoLink to run some nude mods.

 

I redownloaded the game and verified the files at least three times. Steam is definitely giving me the latest version, but I was still crashing at character select screen. 

 

So I ended up deleting "d3d9.dll" from the AutoLink files and I managed to get a nude mod to run without running into any crashes so far.

 

EDIT: My problem was that a program hooked to my game causes the crash. Razer Synapse and other programs running in the background were the culprits so I just have to remember to close them when playing.

Iam too trying to use Xinput Plus and Autolink at the same time, couldn't get it to work. I tried this file and it wasn't better, could someone explain or suggest another solution ? Using latest DOA patch and Autolink 3.30.

 

I also heard about AntiMicro, an alternative to Xinput, will try tonight if it works with Autolink.

DOA5LR is not using Xinput standard. Probably uses Direct Input with some kind of patch like work by T/K. 

 

Few ideas:

- Try DirectInput output mode by Xinput Plus.

- Fix the fix made by T/K. Usually X button and Y button are swapped with most of controllers(Maybe A and B too).

  *** Autolink *might* fix the above by itself so may not necessary.  ***

- Autolink needs Dinput8.dll. 

- And Xinput Plus also needs own Dinput8.dll and refuse to apply when Dinput8.dll already exists on targeted folder.

- Back to the Autolink's Dinput8.dll to original name.

I do not know how it is on the console, but for Windows this method with the substitution of files will not work.

I need to use Xinput since i have an Xbox One controller :

Is there any other remap app/tools for Xbox One controller?

When I tried with PS4 controller, I have to swap X and Y(can't remember details but *might be* A & B too).

Apparently Xinput Plus directly conflicts with Autolink's Dinput8.dll.

resolved long ago - XInput plus dll to dinput8ex.bin | after this you can use Autolink and XInputPlus and lnk_reshuffle.dll simultaneously

Hey guys, I need help that may be Autolink related. During replays I can use the left stick normally but the right stick on does not pan the camera in its intended directions (U,D,L,R). I went ahead and made sure the both .ini and .dll files were up to date (3.30). I was able to use Autolink using the Steam launcher app. Anybody have this issue?
