Did you do the thing where you walk into the sewer, there's a fade, and you come back to the fire from the other direction?

Yeah I did it

I made a new voice mod for Dogma v1.9.1.5.
Compared to my previous Dogma 1.9.1.5 voice mod, I fixed many issues where audio was missing and improved parts that sounded unnatural.
I especially reworked the Whiterun old man and the cheese merchant, giving them different voice tones.
A lot of other parts were also reworked or fixed.

The installation process is the same as before.
However, if you’re updating from a previous version, please make sure to completely remove all of my older mods before installing this one, except for the “Dogma voice v1.0.0.8 mod” made by another author.

here: https://www.loverslab.com/files/file/18201-project-echo-voice-packs-deep-learning-voice-synthesis/

This OLD mod made by another modder is still required.
This version was made in a very brute-force way, with all dialogue included for every voice type, so the file size is massive.
That said, it’s still needed because reworking the older content is difficult.

This voice mod is fully compatible with the current public release of Dogma (v1.9.0.3), and it can also be used with later versions, including the latest one, without any conflicts.
However, any content added in newer versions will not have voice audio. I worked on is v1.9.1.5.

This is just an example of how your right pane load order in MO2 should look after installation:
*Dogma - Thief.esp
*Dogma - Thief_Voices1.esp
*Dogma - Thief_Voices2.esp
*Dogma - Thief_Voices3.esp
*Dogma - Thief_Voices4.esp
*Dogma - Thief_Voices5.esp
*Dogma - Thief_Voices6_SWQ.esp
*Dogma - Thief_Voises7_Newup.esp
*Dogma - Thief_Voises8_Heroine.esp

Also, make sure to place the new DBVO_Dogma – Thief_1_9_1_5 mod below the Dragonborn Voice Over mod.
*Dragonborn Voice Over
*DBVO_Dogma - Thief_1_9_1_5new
You don’t need any of the previous DBVO mods.

You must select ‘bella’ in the Dragonborn Voice Over MCM menu for the voice to play correctly.
Although this is not originally a Bella voice type, I included it under that voice type because I run vanilla Skyrim using it.

If you want to use a different voice type, simply rename 'JSON file and the sound folder'.

PC Head Tracking_Dogma.7z is optional, so you can use it if you want, or skip it without any issues.
The quality isn’t very high. it’s basically a vanilla-level mod with just a few extra voice lines added from my mod.

It’s recommended if you want better voice consistency, but it’s not required.

**When using PC Head Tracking - MCM mod, please note that freezing may occur during certain events in the Dogma mod. To avoid this issue, set the voice levels for “Location” and “Action” to 0% in the MCM options, and you should be able to use it without any problems.**

I’ve fixed as many missing or odd-sounding voice lines as possible, but there may still be a few parts that sound unnatural or have no audio.

In the case of the heroine’s monologues, if the original mod author did not assign a voice type, the lines will not play even if the sound files exist.
Also, since some people said the installation process was too complicated before, I tried to simplify it as much as possible this time.

And to reduce the echo effect in voices, I recommend using the NPC Dialogue Audio Enhancer mod.

https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/40040

Using this mod makes the voices sound clearer and easier to hear.

Unfortunately, I don’t own Skyrim LE, so there is no LE version available.
However, you can use it on LE by extracting the archive and converting it into loose files. It’s not difficult.

As for why this update took so long, it’s because I hadn’t been playing Skyrim for a long time.
I recently got back into it, fixed a lot of parts that felt unnatural, and decided to release this update.

Lastly, one regret I have is that although I wanted to create unique, individual voices for each NPC using the various voices available on the ElevenLabs or xVASynth Discord servers, I had to give up because sorting around 34,000 lines of dialogue by NPC was simply too much for me to handle on my own.

add) I’ve uploaded again a slightly improved version of the previously uploaded file.

down file1.txt 86 B · 27 downloads

I made new Dogma 1.9.2.3 sound.

and made a backport LE version (I even had to download and install Skyrim LE, which I don’t even play, just for this).

You can install it by referring to the existing 1.9.1.5 version installation method. The newly added 1.9.2.3 version should be placed below it in the mod load order. Do not delete the previous version.

And please completely remove the previous versions of 'DBVO_Dogma - Thief_1_9_1_5new' and 'PC Head Tracking_Dogma', then freshly install the ones included in version 1.9.2.3.

Version 1.9.2.3 is an initial release. I haven’t had a chance to actually play-test it yet, because I had to spend several days working only on the voice files. After properly playing through it and fixing any parts where the sound doesn’t play or feels unnatural, once it’s fully polished, I may re-upload it as a new BSA mod. It might take some time, though...

*Add : I have fixed one LE esp file and re-uploaded it. If you previously downloaded the LE version, you only need to download that single ESP file and replace it. From now on, anyone downloading LE version can simply download the main file, 'Dogma Voises_LE .7z'.

**Add :

I have fixed only the main voice files and re-uploaded them. The missing voices and unnatural lines have been fixed and newly remade.  I couldn’t find any way to determine which voice type the old version of Vala used, so I had to redo it several times to find the most similar voice. In the end, however, I ended up remaking all of Vala’s dialogue from scratch. Also, the dice-related parts were mostly reworked using NPC voice types. Reworking only the updated parts is extremely difficult and exhausting.

***Add:

Some of the heroine’s monologue lines may not play. To fix this, unpack the file 'Dogma - Thief_Voises8_Heroine.bsa' and rename the 'dft_dummyvoice' folder to the specific voice folder of the character you are playing. After doing this, the voice will play correctly. For example, for a Nord female character, the default voice folder name is 'FemaleEvenToned'.

However, if you are using the 'PC Head Tracking - MCM' mod, the voice will not play even if you rename it to the specific voice folder of the character you are playing. Therefore, I recommend not using the 'PC Head Tracking - MCM' mod.

Mods like 'Dragonborn Voice Barks' can add new dialogue while keeping the character’s original voice. I may use this mod for future updates.

You need to download both of the following files. 'files_V2' and 'files_v4_mainvoicefix'.

files_V2.txt

files_v4_mainvoicefix.txt

The issue where Dogma Mod breaks the NPC movement paths in Riverwood can be resolved by using the mod linked below.

After extensive testing over a long period of time, I found that there were no issues even when this mod overwrote Dogma Mod.
Link: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/10241

There's an error in the link.  The trailing double quote " character leads to a 404 page.

No idea what to tell you about that.  Try using the console to advance the quest stage to the next step.  The list of quest stages and objectives in my walkthrough post should have the necessary info unless Dogma has changed too much.

do you know if those optional dialogue files you made ages ago like "More Boob Dialogue" etc. are compatible with the current version of Thief? Never tried them but would like to :D

The "More Boob Dialogs" addon adds 4 lines, and it should still work with no issues.

The "NPC Names" addon makes many more changes.  Those changes should still work, but if there are any new things added which reference the same character you may see inconsistent naming.

You have the same problem the other poster from a page ago has.  You folks need to stop turning on alternative outfits if you don't know how to make a .nif file.

Is the Bella voice pack included in the LE file or only in the SE folder? Thanks!

I have tried using the console command to advance but it seems I am missing the new contents. When I advance to next step I am told to get the dibellan coin from Madam Petit, Varg and Grok. Any help would be appreciated to get the new contents.

LE users only need to download the LE mod. Everything is included in it. Also, DBVO is only included in the Bella voice pack due to the way it works, but it is not actually Bella’s voice. If you are using a different voice pack, simply rename the 'voicebella' folder inside the Sound folder to match the name of the voice pack you are using.

Thanks for the recommendation. Yeah, I don't know how to do that. I thought the modification would just change the look of the clothes and that's it. I also tried on all the clothes in this mod used, and only the subject's crown had this effect. which just throws me out of the game.

Can't seem to be able to trigger second scene with Viggy in the morning after applying the strong salve. There should be a dialogue line where you help him turn over on his back, and I never had any issues with this scene in previous versions of Thief, even in earlier versions of 1.9.2 it worked just fine. Now though after release of public version I can't seem to be able to trigger it no matter what.

Can someone who's playing on SE 1.5.97 confirm triggering this scene in latest version?

Everytime I try to download that file from mega, it gets the decrypt bar to around 85% and then says "out of memory" and basically cancels. Am I doing something wrong?

You don't have enough working RAM, it seems.  Mega downloads by copying the data first into the memory allocation space for your web browser, rather than directly copying to disk like every other site.  If you have used some method to limit the maximum RAM allocation allowed to your browser, then it will fail to download.

Same problem. I went to the sewers in one direction and the other, but the quest did not move forward. I entered stage 390 in the console - it wrote that the task to investigate the sewerage was completed, but then there was no reaction at stages 400, 410 and 420. What else can I do?

i'm trying to follow dogma walktrough, in riften after talking to the captain there are some ways of waiting, but i cant understand the last "scenes"

There are several different waiting scenes:

  • vanilla, just waiting in different parts of the city
  • Тан- in jarl riften's house
  • Владение Медовиком- in the house
  •  & & ценность инвентаря меньше 50 & & нет дома в Рифтене & & сцена с капитаном в комнате дознаний
    • Scene behind the shelter
    • Scene near the tavern

'Aroused' mod may cause conflicts. In the MCM options, you need to uncheck the option that links SOS movement when aroused. Also, if there are any mods where NPCs suddenly approach you and start conversations, they should be removed.

Is there already a list with all achievements from silent wood? Playing through that section and might write down those I find in a google doc if dogma hasnt already published something like that

No, Thief doesn't use any of them.

I am at the part where I need to serve the old man his food but when I try to interact with him it says he is busy. I can see his dialog there but he will not interact with my character.
