Arngrim11 Posted July 6, 2012 Posted July 6, 2012 So anyone here at the lab use lady body or lady body armor? After turning on skyrim again after a few mounths it more to my liking. So I was just wondering if you guys would be interested in some armor ports and maybe some all new stuff if I ever get the hang of making stuff from scratch. Here are a couple of shots of my wip port for LB. I have the larger images posted in my wip section of my dl page the link is in my sig. I didn't really get any response there so I thought I would post here and see if anyone would be interested in seeing more stuff for LB and maybe get some feed back on this WIP. P.S. On a side note w00t my 680 Classified just shipped . Just wanted to share that due to excitement ugh I'm such a Geek.

Sad really cause it uses a nice Daz model which would be better in the long run. There is a DL thread for what armors are available here on LL. I tried it out and wiped all my current armors and such out and replaced all with that body and still had issues cause the mod for that body changed all the races. Would be cool as a separate race and maybe a specific follower for it.

[/quote'] I just type LB in the search bar when I'm looking for stuff there. Last I looked lady body was on the nexus did they remove it? Then again it doesn't really matter for what I'm doing atm none of my current LB projects are nexus friendly. I'm not gonning to be getting alot done on this for the next few days. I'm using an older comp (Core 2 duo with sli 8800gts) atm due to some issues with water cooling hose layout. I'm gonna have to hunt some more fittings and maybe a small reservior. So in short my "Good Comp" is out of comission atm.

I don't use the lady body but do use some of the lady body armor but only if they have been converted to unp body otherwise they make your players body look ugly but I have used some of the add ons from them to mix and match with things if they do not cause weird body things.
Khiropter Posted November 26, 2012 Posted November 26, 2012 I tried CBBE and it ended up looking to much like and anime/manga breast styles..to big then i switched to unp and used that till yesterday when i put LB and i can say i really like it. I don't know it looks much better then the rest so ye i would love to see some armor conversions atm i don't know anything about moding but i will start learning and i will try to help as well

lordofthedread Posted April 29, 2013 Posted April 29, 2013 Every armor drops as enchanted version with very powerful enchants, if you use LB you will run into many incompatibilities using other mods. For me a body replacer should not : - Render the game easier with overpowerd enchants - Be incompatible with the vast majority of other mods out there This should just be a body replacer and nothing else along with armors fitting that body. Nothing to say that she dont want to get her work converted to other bodies which is quite bad in a modding community as the simple principle of sharing is what get people keep modding Skyrim. I personally dont use any mods from Elewynn or Krysta because I think their attitude is not a good one to have in a modding community, I agree that Elewynn is even worse since he/she/who cares didnt even had the decency to share the work in the first place. This is just my humble opinion and I dont hold any truth in the matter and like I said, I do love the work of Krysta, armors models and body textures are amazing, too bad it is not available for the vast majority of users.

And I wanted to reply to the above, there is nothing wrong with Krista's attitude. I'm not exactly sure where that is coming from. And also Arngrim, those outfits you posted above look really nice.
Guest SemiPr0 Posted April 30, 2013 Posted April 30, 2013 I love Krista's armor, but I'm not a fan of the body itself. Krista tends to do her header images using DAZ3D and the body looks incredible in there, but it never looks quite as good in Skyrim itself. Its definitely not a bad body, but the shoulders are too broad and the hips are too angular for my tastes. I wish Krista would port some of her stuff to CBBE and UNP because she does some very nice armor pieces but I can understand there are reasons for not doing so.

But when I get a few mods setup the way I want I plan on using LB but without the esp. I will prob pick up one of the custom race mods that has good compatibility and made a few edits so it uses LB. As for the hips I assume Semipr0 is talking about where the hips crest if so I'm not fond of that myself which is why I made the waist a bit thicker so it's a nice curve instead. I finally released a revised version of the jeans, top, and shoes seen above click on the link in my sig to check them out. I think I got most the larger bugs worked out thanks to Forest and Myuhinny. Oh and anyone usings Krista's high poly head mesh?
