If you have tesvedit this would be easy to solve.

load up tesv and look for your followers

check their worn armor and make sure the mesh/tex are pointing to the correct places and nothing is overwriting them.

are they vanillia followers or standalone?

Standalone http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/37351/? and http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/44896/? I load it in tesvedit but i have no clue what im looking for.

I haven't mastered TesVedit yet, but the standalone followers probably have their own skins included. These might be in non-standard folders to make sure they don't overwrite the stock race skins.

Are the follower addons loose or packed in a BSA? If they are loose you could just look in the folders, and copy and paste in the textures you want to use, overwriting the ones in the follower addon.

Not Standalone!

Only for Vanilla Body, If you use a different body type, then missing in this Khajiit followers  the textures!

Read description.  ;)

RECOMMENDED MODS

For maximum compatibility, I've used only Vanilla assets for Sita. However, if you want her face to look as in the pictures, you'll need to install these mods as well. Hell, check them out anyways, it won't hurt.

at the Argonian Maid is the error the armor!

This armor is not compatible with the body, clearly visible at the breast size.

In mod the breast is very small, on your picture very big.

Depending on definitions, they are not vanilla as in "come with the game" followers, but mod based though that's rather moot at this point.

Using vanilla assets should mean that a texture replacer that affects all vanilla NPCs (though only of two races for this example) should also affect them as well. That's where I'd get stuck, and while not using those mod added followers I am using the mention cat and lizard skin textures and they work just fine with the UNP body I am currently using.

Thats weird. because when i first installed them they worked fine with the skin mods this only happen when i did a complete reinstall  and the maid use to work before with this preset.

It affects others fine just not the followers and im using cbbe

I didn't look through your load order close enough, do you have the cat and lizard textures after the follower mods?

yes i do

It can not work because in meshes and texture folders only one FaceGenData folder is available!

Body meshes and body textures are missing, so do not exist in the data folder.  ;)

You do not seem to understand it.

you use but no vanilla body (Meshes) for your character, I suspect CBBE.

if you so use CBBE, then the Khajiit followers also use this body.

Then is a vanilla texture with a CBBE body (meshes) not compatible,

It can only work when you the body of your character from CBBE to Vanilla changed.

But you can also try this.

Another texture for CBBE.  ;)

i am using feminine khajiit textures, the 2k grey cat version. The follower mod isn't using it for some reason.

Then the problem is the ESP of the followers!

This ESP does not recognize the texture or blocks them.

Only with sufficient modding experience you can edit the ESP and correct the error.
