Nightwynd Posted July 30, 2011 Posted July 30, 2011 I'd like to remind you guys we got an IRC chat here that is barely used. Show up something, say hi and chat some! We got an awesome community, so lets not let the chatroom go to waste
Guest flingingfeces Posted August 5, 2011 Posted August 5, 2011 For sure. I check it out at least once a night, but nobody is ever on. Don't be SHY!
demongoat Posted August 5, 2011 Posted August 5, 2011 haven't irced in years! i'd pop in but no one is on lol
Ashal Posted August 5, 2011 Posted August 5, 2011 I've been forgetting to log back in for awhile (mainly because I hate booting up mIRC) but I'll try and stick around in the chatroom more.
koocamunga Posted August 20, 2011 Posted August 20, 2011 how would one join such a chat? (i've never used irc o_O)
Siouliusn Posted August 20, 2011 Posted August 20, 2011 You can use any irc client (the chat program) available on the web or even use one that is already integrated in a website like mibbit. Hm, actually just click on the "Chat" button on top of llab.

adrenaline Posted June 7, 2012 Posted June 7, 2012 I have been to the chat room several times, but never see anyone talking.
Kashiwaba Tomoe Posted June 8, 2012 Posted June 8, 2012 For sure. I check it out at least once a night' date=' but nobody is ever on. Don't be SHY! [/quote'] The problem is quite often people will join, idle for a few minutes, then leave. IRC works best when people stay on for longer periods of time, leaving it running in the background, and check occasionally for replies.
Atreyu Posted June 11, 2012 Posted June 11, 2012 Problem now seems that it's password protected. Edit: Nevermind.
Soulslayerzx Posted June 23, 2012 Posted June 23, 2012 A skype chatroom would probably be more affective.
Guest Lady Luck Posted July 7, 2012 Posted July 7, 2012 instead skype ,its a bit hassle to just make one group and the admin has to stay active otherwise the chatroom will be gone , we could start chatango it's easy that way and has moderated positions.

[/quote'] Plus skype sucks ass. One bad ad runs, and you can have half the people in the chat have their PCs (or skype at least) freeze up as long as that ad is being ran. But admitedly, as the guy that runs the IRC these days, I may be a tad biased, especially as that has happened to me before.
Queen Bee Posted December 8, 2012 Posted December 8, 2012 And skype is...awfully personal. I don't want to show my face online, sorry. And even if we did just use it as a chatroom, no webcams, then you might as well use IRC. Less personal information to give out.
Kashiwaba Tomoe Posted December 10, 2012 Posted December 10, 2012 Skype is only personal if you make it so . But yeah IRC is superior.
