Idk why my sims won’t interact with the statue like it doesn’t let me do anything? Do I need any other mods or any accessories or something? Really confused I’ve been tryna get that one to work for awhile now but it just isn’t working TLDR: how to I get custom locations like the fish statue one to work?
NellielTu22 Posted September 7, 2021 Posted September 7, 2021 Having the same problem as the above person. Cannot click on the spitting fish fountain at all. The cursor doesn't even change letting you know you can. Even starting a scene beside of it and trying to switch to that location doesn't work. You may need to do what other people have had to do and incorporate the spitting fish fountain you used to create the animation into the downloads. I know people using the plants from Strangerville have had to do this. Or I might just be talking out of my butt cuz I have no clue how to make mods lol. Either way, this person above me is not the only one experiencing this issue. BTW, great job on all your animations! Makes my soul happy to know that there are people out there who can create this stuff cuz I sure can't ?

Thank you all for telling me, I will look into it as fast as i can. Currently have a lot on my plate. But i think the latest would be this weekend. Hopefully before that. I think i know what the issue is. It sounds like the ID of the item may have changed in game or in Whicked Whims. It is a quick fix if that is indeed the problem. Will try to look at it tomorrow after work.

I'm currently having a problem with WW that just goes to a transparent blue screen overlay on the game when i try to choose an animation. Not sure what is happening but dont have time to look more into it atm. So if you test the new file, please tell me if it works for you. I was right about the issue with the animation, it was a item ID that had changed.

Thank you i noticed the bottom half of the eye looks reddish like the under parts of the eye are showing, idk if that’s just the eyes i have on my sims or if that’s intentional or idk I don’t mind it so much just thought I’d mention it 1

I can confirm is it working. Or it was before I had to do a total overhaul on my mods folder. Had way too much stuff that was causing conflicts so I completely deleted entire Sims 4 folder in Documents and completely started over. But as of a couple of days ago before this happened, I tested it out. So, all good ? 1

But I have looked for them before when someone else asked me the same question. So will will copy paste it here and hope you can find them. I also edit them a little bit to fit my tastes better so they might not look exactly the same as the original, but close. The first girl from the left: called "CUTE ISLAND TEEN" in the gallery, made by user "kelseykitkat1" The second from the left might actually be a randomized character. (Could not find her original files) I don't seem to have the original for the third girl saved... (so cant see who made her) But the hair is part of the get famous DLC and is a masculine hairstyle. The fourth girl from the left: called "sexy mcSim Bella" made by user "FruUtter" Hope this helps!! Sorry i cant share the files.

I didn't see links to the girls either but after seeing the 4th girl (apparently known as sexy mcSim Bella), it inspired me to modify Becca Clarke with that image as inspiration. I saved her to my personal gallery and now use her in every save, overwriting the default using MCCC Paste Sim. But now I'm going to have to download these and check them out! 1

My character is a woman detective, and each time i try to start an animation on the cell, she complains the cell is blocking her way or something... I've tried the multiple combinations of animations (inside cell, outside, female officer, male officer)... I even tried to change the way the cell is positioned with the build mode... doesn't work. Yes you got it right Sadly, if they aren't on the same side it can block them from starting the animation. I've had it start without it. but it only happens sometimes. It's easier if it is an open cell, but that isnt as fun. ^^ Most objects have a point you need to be close to to start it, if you dont use teleport to object settings. So sometimes for certain objects, I have to start an animation next to it, then press change location to teleport to it. Not ideal, but it works.
