Question on how to use UUNP with Bodyslide

Hi everyone,

I'm stuck on what I hope is a simple request but I've been scouring Google, Nexus Mods, and Lovers Lab for a solution and everything I find is either out of date or vague and unhelpful ( "Move files to the correct folder" ...what files, what folder?). I also use Nexus Mod Manager (I prefer it to MO and never had any problems), and everything I find is instructions for MO.

All I want to do is use the UUNP body with all my mods. Nothing fancy. I don't care about presets or sliders. I just prefer how the base UUNP looks to CBBE. I have installed BodySlide and Outfit Studio and its requirements but when I make a new character it defaults to the CBBE body. I have tried:

1. Reinstalling Bodyslide and deliberately selecting the UUNP body

2. Reinstalling Bodyslide requirements

3. Running Bodyslide.exe and doing a Batch build with UUNP

4. Reinstalling Racemenu and its requirements

I feel like I missed a step somewhere, but the last time I played with mods was months ago when UUNP and CBBE were separate so this wasn't an issue. I am this close to uninstalling everything and starting from scratch

How can I get Skyrim to default to UUNP with Nexus Mod Manager?

You have to build the the outfits in bodyslide,

Here's a great tutorial from Gopher

Also, once you get comfortable with bodyslide/outfitstudio (doesn't happen overnight) making your own conversions really comes in handy, Here's a good one.

You're going to need Grooves XPMSE skeleton as well.

Edit*** well hell, crappy interwebs I didn't check which link that was. But it works the same for skyrim as it does for fallout and you can search Gophers videos to get the right one if you really need to.

I'll take a look at this but I'm not looking to convert outfits or anything. I'm fine with the normal outfits and armors, I just want Bodyslide to default to UUNP instead of CBBE when making a new character.

Edit: Also I do already have XP32 Maximum Skeleton, would that work?

First of all it is better to use XP32 Extended skeleton by Groovtama you can find it on this site. Second if you want install UUNP without any problems use mod " All in One UUNP HDT animated pussy" by Heroede Leyenda also on this site. Install all with NMM and enjoy game full of jiggle and animated body parts.

You have to install the UUNP version of Bodyslide, its an optional in the install options.

I did that already, I even reinstalled it to make sure I had the correct setting selected on install. It still shows the CBBE body when making a new character.

I went through that video and it didn't even mention UUNP. Maybe I missed something but Ill keep looking.

I'm trying these two now see if it helps

It doesn't matter that it doesn't mention UUNP, building the body in the updated bodyslide for skyrim is exactly the same as that tutorial. You look for the body you need in the drop down, create your preset, Save that preset, then build the outfits by batch building. Best way to do that is control +click Batch Build so you can pick what folder it goes in (You are using a mod organizer right?) Converting outfits will probably be something you're interested in down the road, if you find armors that you want, but don't come built for your body choice.

You have to also make sure that the clothes/armor you're looking at come with bodyslide files so you can even build them. It takes time. And like someone said above, find Groovtama's XPMSE, it exists on nexus now I think as well.

I played a bit with this. I am using NMM to organize everything. And I went through bodyslide.exe picked a present and body and batch built UNP as it said. As far as I can tell, all you need to do after hitting Build (or batch build) is fire up skyrim. Except when I do that and make a new character it defaults to CBBE and I can't change the body type (Or anything really) and none of the sliders in-game work.

I'm using Racemenu if that makes a difference but I believe that's a required mod.

Are you making sure you're only choosing armors and outfits? When batch building you have to make sure you're not also building other bodies, I do it from time to time too. All you have to do is rebuild your body preset. Also, are you absolutely certain the outfits and armors you're choosing are for UUNP? there's a lot of bodyslide stuff out there that's for CBBE and you've got to make sure you're choosing the right types.

I don't really mess with the ingame sliders as I build my body from the ground up and tailor the clothes to it, so I can't really help you on that part; but if it's the body scaling, that should work, load order is going to probably be your problem with ingame sliders. (And using the XPMS, rather than using XPMSE)

Really the only things I'm interested in are the stock Devious Devices so I have zero outfits or armors installed. My character is usually nude with restraints (or that catsuit).  Under the Batch Build menu, the only things to select are the Devious Devices and the UUNP model/hands/feet/physics. I even made sure to select UUNP when installing Devious Devices in NMM.

I feel like there's a step that I'm missing. Because everything I hear says 'it should just work'...and it's not.

So I've actually come across this video in my search but this seems to be for Mod Organizer. The main thing here I can't seem to find is which files need to be moved where? Bodyslide does not tell me where it spits out these files nor where I'm supposed to move them to.

When you install Devious Devices it should have given you the optiion to install it for CBBE or UUNP.  Older versions didn't have this.  If you are unsure which ones you got, while in NMM right click your mod and select "Reinstall Mod".  This will disable it, and rerun through the mod's setup, making sure to select UUNP.  You may want to verify the versions you have are up to date, there was a fairly recent update to this mod that included a bunch of new items.

Once it's been reinstalled, then open up bodyslide, and rebuild the devious devices.  You should only need to rebuild those individual items.

I did receive said prompts on install so I'm certain I've done this several times. I'm going to do it again to be sure.

When you say rebuild from bodyslide this is what I've been doing:

1. Open bodyslide

2. Click batch build

3. Tick 'Build morphs'

4. select all items (which is mostly just Devious devices since I don't have any outfits installed)

5. Click Build.

6. Bodyslide does its thing.

Is that all I have to do? Because I still can't seem to get the devious devices to fit and I keep seeing references to moving *some* files *somewhere*. But I don't know what to move where.

Addendum: I think multfilm 's suggestion about the all in one UUNP body seems to have work at least partially.

That should be the only thing you need to do.  The only reason I could see the clothes not lining up is because your body was built using a different preset.

When you are building in Bodyslide, what is selected in the preset dropdown should be the same for the body, as well as all the armors you build.  During the all-in-one you selected UUNP as your body, it then asks what "shape" you want (zeroes sliders, 7B, etc).  You can always change it later by going into bodyslide and rebuilding it.  The preset you build in bodyslide would affect the default body shape that the player character and all NPCs have, assuming none of the UUNP sliders in race menu have been altered.

If your armors are still not lining up with your body, chances are you used one preset for the body and one for all the Devious Device outfits.  If you can remember, use that, otherwise it may be easier to just rebuild everyting (including the body).

For example, if I was to completely rebuild EVERYTHING in bodyslide with a UUNP body, my screen would look like:

https://postimg.org/image/lvda0ye0d/

Make sure nothing in the Group Filter or Outfit Filter is selected.  Your Preset should be whatever you want the default to be, based on personal preference.  Outfit/Body doesn't matter since you are going to be doing a batch build.  After you select batch build, you will probably see a screen like this:

https://postimg.org/image/yypkptopp/

For conflict #1 this is the body, select the UUNP variant you want.  Unified UNP is the default body, no jiggle, nothing special.  Unified UNP HDT is the UUNP body, with jiggle.  Unified UNP Special is the UUNP body, with jiggle, and the vagina collision (all-in-one hdt body)

Go through any output sets, specifying which ones you want if there are no conflicts.  My screen may look different because I switched from CBBE to UUNP and probably didn't get everything cleanly removed.

This is actually very helpful information. I think I had been using the UUNP present on the Unified UNP body, instead of "Zeroed sliders". I also double checked and I think I had a group filter on there which cut out a lot of the items I had installed. I will have to try this tonight as I can't get at it right now,

Just an FYI the second link is to a mod multfilm suggested, was that what you intended to link?

The All-In-One HDT Animated Pussy mod (http://www.loverslab.com/files/file/2476-all-in-one-hdt-animated-pussy/) is still the UUNP body, it just makes it really easy to install the body with HDT physics and penis/vagina collisions so it opens during sex instead of just clipping through.  Using that mod is definitely a lot easier than manually installing all of those parts individually, but it's not required.

Also you don't have to use zeroed sliders, it's just a nice "fantasy average" for a body shape. You can use any of the UUNP presets for your body, just make sure that any armors/items also have the same preset when build or things won't line up.
