Guest Posted November 24, 2016 Posted November 24, 2016 So i had a mod that add chainmail shorts or tops tattoos to the player and i edited it a bit to add pants too and it looked great with a lot of armors and it had no clipping too and so i thought it would be cool if i can add the tattoos to the body in the armor mesh so i can save time and also be able to give it to other npc's and so i changed the body texture path in the armor mesh with nifskope but nothing really changed ingame even though it show in nifskope exactly like i want it.
myuhinny Posted November 24, 2016 Posted November 24, 2016 Are you doing it to both nifs? What you do to one nif has to be done to the other nif as well or it will not change in game. So if you alter the _0 nif you must also do the same thing in the _1 nif.

Bodymeshes (also Armors with Bodymesh) use SkinTextureSets defined in CK. Open the Armor Addon of this armor in Creation Kit and check the SkinTextureSet. (You can also define your own texturesets in CK)

Andy14 Posted November 24, 2016 Posted November 24, 2016 OK. In this case, the default skin texture of the body is used. Defined in CK as TextureSet "SkinBodyFemale_1". Look at the Armor Addon NakedTorso. (Elfes, Orcs etc. use own TextureSets and ArmorAddon.)
