Will This Setup Be Good Enough?

[Darkening Demise]

So I'm getting closer to building that bloody PC after over a year. I have a concern though if I could even play Skyrim again due to VRAM being such a major issue.

Currently I'm unable to play due to VRAM limitations (my current processor is a AMD Quad-Core A6-3620 and I run its integrated graphics).

So I get all that black textures on ground, trees look bare, bodies are all black minus hands feet and head, bodies go missing, bright pinkish textures on stuff, etc.

I'm hoping I can play without issue with a new setup but.....I rather seek advice so my mods are below and the new PC specs.

I have SG Texture Renewal (not using the optional 2K files)

I have Feminine Arognian Textures and Feminine Khajiit Textures

I selected 128 in the texture size for DynDOLOD

I have selected medium for DynDOLOD

I hope to play Skyrim on max settings minus AA, FXAA, Detail Fade, and Anisotropic Filter.

I play at a resolution of 1600x900

Had no problems with my old r9 270x, which I suppose is comparable to the gtx 750ti, on approx the same settings. It could handle all but heavy enbs. And I got the same processor.

If 2GB will be enough depends pretty much on the mods you're using, it might be a bit low if you have a lot of graphic mods and/or high res textures. I don't know SG texture renewal, if the default textures are at 4k it might be better to use the optional 2k files.

With Bethsada games you want to get the best Intel Processor you can with few cores and high speed.

Also an SSD drive really goes a long ways too, cause load times on modded games can get silly without one.

have upgrade not long ago when my alim burned

 

a 4go gpu won't cost much more

don't buy 4*2 go ram, buy one 8go or 2 4go (to add more later when need or use it for next pc)

 

intel cost more because the piece cost more when they make their cpu

amd cost less because they wait for the price to drop, but put more in their cpu (that mean more heat)

that would a simple choice if skyrim didn't suck with multi core, stronger cores > more weaker cores, don't just look at the ghz
