I downloaded this mod again yesterday, had it before, removed it and then decided I wanted to use it again. Last time I had the spell listed under illusion, just as you said; However now It isn't in my spell options. How do I get the spell back?

I use this mod from a wihile and I may say I really like it, but sometimes the way the conversion works want me to uninstall this mod. I understand that the mod is made to not be boring, but the dialogue box that gives to use 7 (or something like that) options to choose from that causes NPCs to randomly see US on his own way is really daunting.

 

Personally, I think that the conversation should first have the title of the thread that we talk about - and here, by choosing the right thread, the NPC will perceive us positively or negatively.

So if the NPC starts a connversation thread about the weather, then answering a completely different thread ( like we start talking that we have been yesterday at the flea market should give negative points/relations, since WE ( the player ) ignore NPC and we behive arrogant and we ignore his subject - WE not listen him/her as we should. This is NOT silver tongue art(skill). 
Now when the NPC refers to the weather (here could be several threads - for example the NPC could complain about the weather or want to appreciate weather and by choosing the correct answer on a specific topic that start NPC would give us positive points/relation to NPC, because player selected a conversation thread about the weather. The key to the perfect relationship is ...... listening carefully to our partner - through the ear to the heart.  What make NPC comes to the Player? Can be beauty, fame, wealth but after all personality steal the hart.

 

So...When the selected topic is correct that would open another, new dialogue window with 3 conversation options  - the answers, that would have at the end of them in parentheses (Positive), (Neutral) and (Negative) hint.
Why am I suggesting Hints in parentheses? Well, when talking to another person, apart from listening other person are ... emotions ( on the face -  ) / gestures ( performed with the body or arms - waving the hand calmly or nervously ) that we cant get in game mechanic

[Positive] - Nice and even seductive look, smile
[Neutral] - Bored look
[Negative] - Suspicious eyesight, furrowed eyebrows and forehead,

That why Hints.

 

So if we talk to someone and we answers nervously or shouting or aggressively - in this case (Negative), then this person will not be interesting with conversation with US and wont take positively our conversation. NPC can take that as insult and it could end conversation or even lead to Brawling.

But if WE talk calmly and politely then NPC wishes to continue this conversation (Positive). 

On the other hand, the (Neutral) option would be a form between an optimist and a pessimist - i.e. if the NPC praises or denies the weather, we give a bland answer. We do not make the enemy or earn that person's trust / friendship - neutral stats.

 

And that's how I would like to see this mod where we players have a choice of what we want to say and how we want to be perceived by NPC. If we like or not an NPC in this conversation, we can let him know about that.

That's just my suggestion ... but the current state of the mod reminds me nothing more but the usual wheel of fortune where script of this mod give us thumbs up or down for the conversation we just had.

 

This mod could be more than just Road to Bed. The first conversation, which we will complete successively, would be a door to future conversations.
If the player agrees to sex at the first conversation, WE will be considered a slut. But if the player appreciates Partnership more, this mod would be the door to the DLC - Hearthfire - i.e. starting a family.


After the successive completion of the first conversation, the mod would keep track of the Relationship stats of specific NPC and each conversion (successfully completed) would lead to the next phases.

1st phase - getting acquainted
2nd phase - liking each other
3rd phase - friendship
4th phase -romans (no sluting / whoring)
5th phase - marriage 

6 Phase - Enable Sexual Acts (Fire SexLab)
7 Phase - Conversation about starting a family (Fire Hentai Pregnancy mod or GemOves if Player is a Mage ( or so ) and want get gems)

 

This could open another gate. Nothing lasts forever, and "the flower that is not watered will wilt" - Betrayal and sexual intercourse with strangers (others) by us or our spouse

 

Overall, this mod would make it possible for what Bethesda never really did, or simply did not care that the Hearthfire DLC was more than just an empty DLC, which was provided by the profit and fans make them bluff

 

If we end the first conversation negatively, this could also lead to some Consequence Phases.

 

1st Phase - disliking
2nd Phase - negative dialogues about our person - insults ect
3rd Phase - Brawling in case of failure ( lose fight ), NPC steal items from our inventory - Consequences of our actions/dercisions.
 
If we win Brawling (3rd phase) - the relationship of the NPC phase drops to 1 or to 0, i.e. neutral - so as not to burden the script that would track the NPC statistics.

For Brawling in a public place (Holds capitals like Whiterun, Riften, Winterhold ect ect) could end up in jail .... such a funny little mod diversion.

 

In whatever phase of the conversation we are, we could always make it better or worse by our own choices

 

I hope that dev this mod wont take my point of view wrong. i know is easy top say but harder to do. Or someone can say; If you don't like it, make your own mod.

It's not like that, I like this mod, but I don't want the conversation to look like using a slot machine in a casino win / lose. I want to interact and influence how I am perceived by others - Choice and consequences.

Hi

I would like to ask about Relationship mod will conflict with SLEN ( SexLab Eager NPCs )? The reason why I ask, because when sex act animation fire I would like to "lead" my Player Character and be more integrated and choose my self sex act positions.

Has anyone found out any workaround for the problem when the dialgoue just abrupts and then I have a "ForceGreet" option?

 

@Guffel also, I'd like to report a bug: if I disable the "House garbage" option and then disable the mod itself - the house garbage will re-appear.

@LenaLachrymosa SLEN and RDS don't conflict, I use them both, they just ignore each other, mostly. As an example, sex started by SLEN is still counted as cheating by RDS but only sex started by RDS will improve affection in RDS. I suggest setting SLEN to handle threesomes and orgies while leaving couple sex to RDS. As for changing the sexlab animation that is playing, I don't think SLEN does that. I know Defeat does, I use it with RDS, and base sexlab has a hotkey to change what position in the scene your in.

 

@Guffel If/when you come back to this project could I ask for a MCM toggle to exclude active followers from the kidnapping event? While the whole follower betrayal thing is pretty story rich having them kidnap you, drop you some where random naked, and then walk up to you in your gear like nothings wrong is... odd. Not to mention if you have any of the succubus mods running so the follower you spent time finding, installing, and gearing kills them self on you.

 

In the meantime while Guffel is not working on the mod does anyone know how to exclude active followers? I've looked through the quest and script but I'm not familiar enough with things to figure it out.

I had another question about this statement: what would setting my armor as naked do? I don't use the exhibitionist setting in SLA, because my PC is pretty much the complete opposite, personality-wise lol.

A scene being stopped means it isn't currently running. If you wait for an npc to come talk to you and then "esc" out of the conversation and go to the MCM whatever scene the npc is trying to initiate will have a number telling you how far along the scene is. So everything should be stopped, or at 0, while nothing is happening and if something is happening that scene and that scene only should have a number greater than 0.

So what causes an NPC to break up with you when they're your only lover, you haven't had sex with anyone else since you hooked up, and the last time you had sex with them was less than a day ago? 

 

Edit: Also, my PC's reputation is 100 in every hold, which is supposed to mean innocent.

 

Edit 2: (SEMI MAIN QUEST SPOILER ALERT) I reloaded my save from before the "..." dialogue option lead to him dumping her. She had sex with him immediately before leaving for Kynesgrove to meet Delphine, in hopes that it would tide him over long enough. Instead, he followed her there, ran up to her (while she and Delphine were hiding to watch Alduin) to yell that being the Dragonborn didn't make her special, then Sahloknir killed him as soon as the fight started. He didn't ACTUALLY die, since he was essential, but still, kind of a clusterfuck, since I couldn't even pay attention to what he was saying cause a dragon was attacking lol. I kind of assumed lovers would wait for you to come back to force greet.

I tried updating from 2.4 to 2.6 mid playthrough... Despite seeing a lot of unfamiliar new features listed in the opening post, the MCM had no new options. So either the new features can't be configured or turned on/off, or updating mid-game causes issues.

Really enjoy this mod, what it adds for player/follower dynamics and such. Would it be possible to instead change the option for Marriage to Harem? I'd much rather them serve as members of my harem opposed to marriage. I play a lot of Harem RPG and Harem Collector and much prefer the harem dynamic to the marriage dynamic. I suppose having the marriage option would still be good, but if you're playing with your harem members, it wouldn't count against your relationship with your spouse. Also, the harem members would also server your souse aswell.

 

Just my thoughts. Thankyou for making this mod, and I'm eager to see how it grows in the future. :)

Hi, I've been following this mod for a few years now. Previously, there was such a problem that it was impossible to build a stable relationship with the character, he always randomly ended the relationship himself for no reason, or changed something, this pushed me away from using the mod. I'm not sure if this problem still exists? If so, is it possible to somehow fix the relationship so that it breaks / worsens only in situations that are obvious or manageable for the player. I just had an unpleasant experience when a companion left me after an hour of relationship, for no reason.

hi i tryed the mod the part i dont like is if a npc force greets you to talk if you press esc to get out the chat they go to force you back into the chat maybe have it so when you press esc to get out of chat they take the hint and dont go to force greet you again

 

if a npc was trying to force greet you and vampires attack it wouldnt go well if a moron npc kept trying to force greet you while your trying to fight the vampires
