I was thinking about trying it out myself, but I don't know if I could spare the time to do it justice. It's obviously pretty extensive.

 

Is it safe to at least assume that there's a fair amount of plot involved here? Or is it just an excuse to watch some porn?

Maybe I can write something after I leave Japan on the 30th. I will still have to see much of the new works to really get the creative thoughts flowing though. Once I get some stuff written I'll pm you a copy and see what you think. Unless someone steps up before I get back home then I would guess I missed my window. ;)

What I mean is that 99% of problems with CLS we get is WHY ANIMATIONS ARE NOT WORKING !!

Which in 99% is bad load order or mod conflict which stops CLS animations to work properly. (or at all )

hmm yeah thats part of it, though i place my vtoy.esp near bottom of the load order.. also the shire, i just couldn't figure out what is suppose to happen in there, so im stuck there. but mainly animation sometimes wont work, or sometimes wont end :(

You asked for a review, here it is.

 

What is Claudia’s Little Secret? Well it isn’t little by any definition. CLS is an English adult-adventure mod, porn with plot for the uninitiated. But to call CLS merely that is quite the injustice. This mod, currently receiving its final part, is a sprawling set of unique quests that range from the simple fetch to the edged tension of a sword-fight. You also obtain an impressive base of operations during the journey, with all the modern means that break Oblivion lore but you won’t care, not with the pool you get!

 

You begin the journey by sleeping in any bed. This starts a lucid dream with a sultry end. It’s here that you set up your character for the animations within the mod, using a push-block system. The animation that plays after isn’t just eye-candy but the perfect way to correct any problems you see by replaying the sequence. You’ll see degrees of this polish throughout the adventure.

 

From here you travel to the Imperial City, introducing yourself to the mod’s namesake and her sister, which ties itself into the lore well enough. The plot is written well enough that boredom won’t rear its ugly head until a few, later quests in part two. The beginning is a set of find and fetch quests, making up part one, and ends with only one quest likely to frustrate players due to a lack of explanation (remember to save). Part two starts after a gathering in a basement. It is here that the mod separates itself from the pack. You attain your base, the Tiber Septim Hotel, and fill it with maids, all in the name of restoring a cult. It isn’t the most lore-friendly, but damn is it fun!

 

Of my criticisms I can name a few, most minor. A lack of combat is present in all of part one and the beginning of part two. This coupled with a few quests that require you to go through some mild trial and error can interrupt the pacing. One rather long escort quest is guilty of pacing. Depending on which mods you use to affect monster spawns, this can be either a boring affair or one where every step is filled with danger. My first run was done without monster mods, and besides a wolf or two, I encountered only a lonely stretch of road. The above-average writing will get you through these lull moments, and quickly lend to a snicker, while ensuring you always understand the meaning of your travels.

 

This however shouldn’t dissuade anyone that is downloading this mod for its meat: the animations. It is here that CLS shines and becomes a one-of-the-kind content pack. Each one is polished with a level that Oblivion fundamentally lacks on its base package. These animations are all on the sexual side, but even with their nature one has to admit the professional work in each scene. For those looking for the ‘adult’ in CSL, you’ll be glad to know the spread of these scenes is generous enough that you won’t be praying to some sex goddess for salvation.

 

Overall the mod does what it says, and will likely do more than you expect. As an adventure mod it does an excellent, but mildly flawed, job of sating your inner Indiana Jones. It is as an adult mod that CLS holds ground, and breaks it by the end of Part Two. It still remains to be seen if Part Three will disappoint, but regardless, your first play-through will be gleefully memorable. That memory might be something you want to keep secret but it is irrefutable that CLS is of a caliber of mods that numbers only a dozen.

Claudia's Little Secret (CLS) is an expansive, highly adult quest/sex mod. But unlike the relatively tasteless random sex you get with pose mods or most Lovers plugins, CLS story-oriented, with characters both serious and funny.

 

The mod itself is, ultimately, a comedy. The plot is designed to be both funny and engaging, especially as you get closer to the end. That's where the real mysteries start to unfold.

 

The cast is fairly expansive, with a massive expansion to the cast due with Part 3. later. No two characters are quite the same.

 

But, you didn't come here for a story. There are plenty of mods that do that already. No, you came here for sex! Well, you're in luck, because there's plenty to go around, both for the player and the cast! There are even optional scenes that you can skip, on purpose or accidentally. Save often, don't be afraid to try things, and don't rush through it.

 

There's even replay value! Certain decisions have effects that chance sex scenes, and even story elements! Play as a man or woman for different scenes and options!

 

Speaking of options! CLS is all about maximizing the player's options. Want a futa chick? It's got that. Wanna see your dude get a strapon up his ass like a good little bitch? Got that, too! And there's even more options coming in Part 3, though I won't spoil anything. ;)

Music, I don't recall hearing, but it could be for any number of reasons, all of them user error (not wearing headphones).

 

What would you like to see? A key list of features? A detailed explanation? A combination of the two? Maybe a brief synopsis of the plot?

Music, I don't recall hearing, but it could be for any number of reasons, all of them user error (not wearing headphones).

Ok. I'll have it done after some previously-commissioned work today.

 

Some big numbers would be nice for the features.

 

dialogue lines.

 

Unique models.

 

Hours of music.

 

Stuff like that.

 

People love big numbers lol.

This is the current WIP I have. Once I get a list of numbers and the like I'll start filling in the features. If you like the "?" parts or not, do say so good chap. The features I'll likely explain in detail. The general feel I'm going for is quick, grasping, and easy on the eyes.

Hi!

Great, somehow, now I feel like we do exagerate on the importance of cut scenes (feel free to post any insult here, I know I would!!!).

 

Go on without any of my remark your work is better without untalented guidance so be yourself and discard my notes!!!

I say CLS is awesome not only because it was cool from the very beginning when it was just anal toy, Yeh I have been around for a while, but also because Grumpf kept his promise and turned it into a multi-part mod with continuous support.

The only real complaint I had was with the googly eyes on the male characters that were part of the mod. Luckily my character was the only male character of consequence. =P
