Hi guys!

This is my first thread here and I’d like to share with you the game I'm currently working on. It’s called "Dating My Daughter", a first-person, choice-based 3d dating sim/visual novel.

Main plot

You’ll assume the role of a divorced father who hasn't seen his daughter in years. Now that she's 18 years old, she contacts you and tells you that she would like to have a “father-daughter” date with you. You’ll have the chance to get to know your daughter better, build a special relationship and why not, maybe convince her to have more “father-daughter” dates with you in the future ;)

Gameplay

You’ll be making choices between two or more decisions that will negatively or positively affect the outcome of the date and the main story as well.

There are two stats (at the moment) in the game: Friendship and Love. You can see them at the top right corner of the screen.

Every time you make a choice, you’ll win or lose a point (sometimes more than one) depending on the decision you make. For example, if you choose to stare at your daughter’s ass and she catches you, you’ll lose 1 friendship point.

You’ll have to get a certain amount points to advance in the game. If you fail, you’ll have to repeat the date.

Characters

You can choose your name as well as your daughter's name.

There will be secondary characters like your ex-wife, your daughter's best friend, your coworkers, etc. but the main focus will be on F/D content.

Most fetishes are optional so if you're not into some of them, you can choose to disable them.

Hey there, dotgames!

I played through the demoof your game and I think it's pretty cool.

The art style and hud are rather lovely.

ALso, just a thing to note: you can't post pictures on LL unless you've posted before, which is why I can't see the pictures.

 

I'd love to donate on patreon but due but I can't use things that use monthly payment systems, so it would be cool if I could just give you a bunch of money (Like, I dunno, 100$) and get the rewards like if I used patreon to give the money, y'know?

There is no rule like that the reason why you can't see the pictures is because imgur blocks pictures linked to LL you need to get the workaround that prevents imgur from blocking the links. There is one for firefox and chrome. http://www.loverslab.com/topic/56018-workaround-for-imgur-images-not-loading-chrome-firefox/

 

Apologies, I had read that you had to post a bit before being able to post images. Probably just misread it.

A person has to have 2 post before a person is allowed to post a picture or link it's a spam prevention thing. Not being able to see a picture is different. Postimage.org pictures can show up broken as well if the uploader picks the wrong link to link.

 

The pictures worked when they were from imgur and they work with postimage.org as well though I had to reblock the unspoilered picture again.

Tried the demo, I love that the game tells me what my "goal" is and actively tracks it on the HUD, can't wait to see how this one goes development-wise!

Hmmm short but overall pretty good.

 

  • The girl looks older than 18 to me. Breasts seem to big for 18, more like 20. Not a game breaker, but slightly breaks immersion for me. 
  • The thighs seem off shaped too. They look thicker than I would expect on someone so young. Not a huge deal once again, but it caught my attention.
  • Game format actually worked really well. A good step to show off the framework. Many games first release have major issues but then they are locked in  with those mistakes since the producer is working on the next segment. Good job getting it done right the first time.
  • Conversations felt natural, good job, that's a big accomplishment.
  • Not a huge fan of 3rd person for every scene, but that's a person preference.
  • The goal is a nice touch, so we know what to shoot for.

Looks promising. 
I love the cute interface, how clear it is, the way the characters talk to each other. Oh and incest with such a nice daughter too  :shy:

BTW, will there be some kind of progression for the clothes she wears? Ie, her clothes becoming less conservative as the time passes, and/or her father buying clothes (sexier panties, shorter shorts and skirts and so on) that she would accept as she is sufficiently lewd (or refuse if it's too soon)?

1. There should be a choice of whether the POV (you) is the girls Dad or Mom.

2. If there is only one choice to click on, there isn't really a need to have to click. 

3. There should be different outcomes or progression for each choice presented.  If all choices lead to the same outcome or next scene progression, then there isn't really a choice to make.

1. There will be some scenes with the daughter as the protagonist.

2. Some buttons were included to add more interaction to the game, but I get what you mean.

3. At the moment, the story is a little bit linear but that's what needs to happen at the beginning. I mean, if you act like a perv on the first dates, the daughter will get the f out of there and never come back :D Don't worrry, after the first few dates, the game will become more dynamic and your choices will have more impact on the final outcome.
