Akzyra Posted October 28, 2016 Posted October 28, 2016 Maybe, If all Requirements are done. See, Fallout 4 is out some time, and no SexLab for it. So yeah, if it will be done, not soon.
Nazzzgul666 Posted October 28, 2016 Posted October 28, 2016 And a new FNIS. So my guess is... any time next year, most likely not before.
doisitrey Posted October 28, 2016 Posted October 28, 2016 I'm not gonna start a new thread just to ask basically the same questions, so I'll hijack this thread, sorry about that. With remastered out is there any benefit to it? I mean I know its a new engine (or same engine but 64 bits) but is there any benefit to it at all? I heard a rumor some time ago that due to the 64 bits engine mods will be more stabile so there will be less CTD, but that's about all I heard. Or now there is the possibility for more advanced mods that weren't possible till now (if so, I'd like an example for an advanced mod, even if just in theory since SKSE/SESE its not out yet and maybe wont be for a long time now). Or the remastered is nothing but a gimmick (don't care that give better graphic on console and give them mods) on PC since, lets be honest, the remastered still look like shit when compared to the old version with decent texture mods + enb. One other thing that I'm curious about, for anyone that have tried the remastered version, does it give anything new to the quest system ? As example the Civil WAR mod was basically vanilla quest that was locked it in development since old consoles couldn't handle the scripts, is now unlocked by default and few other things that had similar lock?
mangalo Posted October 28, 2016 Posted October 28, 2016 The current gen of graphics cards usually has 4gb + VRAM, but because Skyrim uses DirectX 9 it can't use more than 4gb (unless you use Windows 7 I've heard). A new 64 bit engine using DirectX 11 means the lift of that limit and the most recent cards could use all their potential. A newer version of DirectX is also a good thing for performances. There are a few other advantages but I don't remember them.

The special edition counts as a new game in Steam, it won't mix with your current Skyrim installation
gregathit Posted October 30, 2016 Posted October 30, 2016 Holly Fuckcheese batman! Yes, it will be updated, and NO it won't be any freaking time soon. Why, NOTHING MUCH WORKS!! When SKSE is released and out of beta, THEN you can get hopeful you'll see Sexlab in a couple of months, give or take.
