astor Posted October 19, 2016 Posted October 19, 2016 I'm trying to remove the panties from the transparent nocturnal robes from this mod: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/25259/? I'm having mixed success. I can open them in OS and remove the panties, export the nif and upon reopening the file after exiting and the relaunching OS, they are indeed gone. However, BS still shows them as visible and they are indeed still visible in the game. Advice? https://staticdelivery.nexusmods.com/mods/110/images/25259-1-1365801957.jpg
Guest Posted October 19, 2016 Posted October 19, 2016 Open in nifskope and delete the panty mesh. I tried it and it worked.
gnegna Posted October 19, 2016 Posted October 19, 2016 If i remember correctly it is extremely easily. That whole mod is customizable via Bodyslide, so if you load it up and seleect the outfit you can zap (i.e. remove) the panties. A the top of the sliders there is a tick box named "ZapPanty", just check it and they will magically disappear (remember to build the mesh).

I went straight to OS. As for nifskope... yeah, that program scares me. I can't make any sense out of what's in there when i open a file.

astor Posted October 19, 2016 Author Posted October 19, 2016 I want to be able to have other undergarments visible beneath it, and Schlongs of Skyrim helps a bit with it's "Revealing" option, but only on some garments. Others just remain invisible until the robe is removed. I tried using the CK, but that just spits out an error with a list of my mods and ctds to desktop.

Instead of removing completely panty mesh from Nifskope, go to its " BSLightingShaderProperty" - scroll down & switch "Alpha" from 1 to 0. Game engine wont render the mesh, & you will save it, maybe for later editing.
