ENB/ReShade

I still can't find a good ENB for FO4. All present on Nexus too saturated and sharpen, or just give to you a "LSD" vision. Maybe someone know a ENB with soft, warm lights and colors?  In Skyrim i really love a The Wilds ENB, some analog of this for FO4?

I've actually been enjoying Reshade more than ENB now. Used to always love using ENB, but after playing with Reshade for awhile in many other games (and Fallout 4), it's my new go to for enhancements. The problem I always had with ENBs was texture blurring. It was like my game was using low-res graphics when I used an ENB. But with Reshade, I never have that issue. Everything always looks HD and clear.

A couple that I really like are Sweet HD FO4 and Enhanced Wasteland Preset (I prefer the v3.0 with Enhanced Wasteland Preset, not the new one). And if they aren't vibrant enough, use them with Fallout 4 Enhanced Color Correction. It adds just the right amount of color to help make things pop. For softer lights in general, check out Brighter Settlement Lights. It has an option to soften those harsh lights out for you.

The nights are a bit darker than vanilla, so if you're using Darker Nights, go with one of the light settings to keep you from having pitch black nights.

Currently I'm using Sweet HD FO4 with the Enhanced Color Correction. Then with True Storms and Darker Nights. Looks great. Not overly saturated or too dark at all.

Is ENB still needed on the FO4 engine?

Not at all in my opinion. I absolutely love how the game looks natively with all-ultra, minimal anti-aliasing, HBAO+, deep focus removed, no motion blur, and 4k resolution. Somebody talked me once into trying the non-NVidia alterations (like sweetfx and ENB), and it made the game look much worse.

I do have an Nvidia 980Ti card (heavily overclocked), so my graphics card is pretty good. I presume the ENBs and reshades are to help weaker graphics cards do what newer ones do natively because I don't see why people would use ENBs and stuff like that.

Edit: If reshade doesn't do what sweetfx and ENB does, perhaps the reason I don't see the need for something to change the colors is I can easily adjust the colors with my monitor settings. I use a 50" 4k TV with HDMI2 cable as a monitor and can make it as fruity or bleak as I want from there.

ENB for FO4 or ReShade, have a specular settings for "wet clay" effect? I can't find this parameters in enb and reshade.

ENB has better lighting than fO4's vanilla pbr implementation, and actually does SSAO and SSIL better.

Go figure.

I have indeed. Boris' implementation is still better AND less of a hit.

Fallout4 is kind of a giant mess in terms of optimization. 20,000 draw calls in Diamond City is some Ubi$haft level of  broken.

Are we playing the same game, 27X? I play at 4K resolution all ultra and get excellent performance and top of the line aesthetics without ENB and without reshade, using just a good Nvidia card and Bethesda's implementation of HBAO+ and other settings. I've tried ENB, and it's much inferior to what I get with 4K ultra and HBAO+.
