I am Getting Very Frustrated...

So, I've been trying for the past 3 hours to get a Sexout setup for Fallout NV to work. I have the latest beta version of NVSE, installed the recommended NVSE Extender(I use MO, don't know if that causes any issues), and I've tried reinstalling EVERY sexout based mod on the list, to no avail. It always crashes whenever I try to load a save or start a new game. This is my load order:

I just don't know what else I'm supposed to do, and it's irritating me. I've modded Skyrim with no problem using this site, as well as modding both Skyrim and New Vegas for non-pornographic purposes with little to no issue.

I already have all of those installed, though. You can see at least three of them in my load order. I also use the 4GB mod.

There is no issues using MO that I know. In fact it should work better and easier than it does with Skyrim (no need to run external programs before you start the game like FNIS)

Have you tried using FNVedit to see if it stops at a mod and requires any fixes?

It is likely some very simple issue you have overlooked. I can't see any problem from what you show. However... since you are using MO.. create a new profile and only activate the required mods for sexout. (NVextender, sexout etc) perhaps download and install Sexkey (not sure if you can currently use x with just sexout to see if you get it to work) Then you only have the game, Sexout, NVextender and perhaps Sexkey. Nothing else installed. See if that works. If it does then add a few more mods as needed (click on them) and go back and try again. Make sure you do a fresh start to be sure it isn't a save issue. (with the new profile)

Very likely you done the suggested above. Just have to cover the basis.

I tried making a brand new profile, with only Sexout and my UI mods running(required for the MCM to function properly), and the game black screens before it ever even launches properly. I am using Windows 10, but, as far as I know, I haven't installed the Anniversary Update, since I have automatic updates turned completely off, in fear of something getting broken. FNVEdit shows(I've never been good at using it, for Fallout or Skyrim) no issues at all, but Wrye Flash is giving me the Red and Orange checkboxes, which typically means that something is loading out of order. However, I've run LOOT multiples times, as well as making both a Merged Patch with FNVEdit and a Bashed Patch with Wrye Flash. Is there anything else that I can provide, such as screenshots, system specs, or anything else similar to that that would help in this situation

Alright, I happened to find a fix for this issue when I was scouring the Fallout New Vegas subreddit. It seems that Windows installed the anniversary edition without my knowledge, so that seemed to be causing a massive cocktail of an issue. I'm going to post the link to the subreddit thread so other people can see if this fix works.

I hope this helps out anyone else, because it certainly helped me fix my issues.

You did check the comments on Nexus? The one telling you NOT to do that for Windows 10? All you are supposed to do is ROLLBACK the NVidia drivers to one of the versions published before July, rather than butcher your Direct X installation by installing a DLL that has been obsolete for decades :)

I tried rolling back my drivers, and it did nothing to help me. The DLL did. If there's an unforeseen consequence later, oops. All I know is that it worked for me, and I hope it works for someone else, as well.

Remove the current driver for your graphics card.

Then go to the manufacture site and then download a much older one that the one you rolled back to. Try sometime around June or so. I have heard the 368.69 works for GTX980 on another site I go to regularly.

i literally just finished fixing it. I have a gtx 980 and had to go back to driver 368.69. just download the driver uninstall the old one by going to driver manager, find display adapter, double click on yours, click uninstall driver, restart and install the driver you just downloaded.

If you have a Nvidia Graphics card then install drivers 368.81 or below, everything abover Drivers 368.81 will crash these games.

That should help you not need that risky DX9 dll.

Also a reason to fix the driver issue properly is I hear you can really do ENBs with the old DX9 dll.
