BackStory:

 

Back in the 90s there was a company called itself thrixxx they made a plugin for a then popular media player winamp called 3d gogo with 3d dancing girls that you can sex up and make naked.  It was a brilliant move to direct users to another software they were developing called 3dSlut, 3dluder in german.

 

So what these websites are about are a highly modified sex simulator gaming engine game named "The Klub17", modified from versions of 3dsexvilla2 3dhentai2 and 3dgayvilla2.  The company thrixxx that owns the oriignal games aggressively pursues those that share these hacked versions that are superiour but bugier.  Thrixxx attempted to combat the need for the community to mod by opening is own version of approved modding called gameerotica.   Thrixxx also changed the game from being a subscription based (montly tier) to a buy as you want option packs. This is both a victory and a defeat for those wanting a better service, as unlocking the whole games costs hundreds of USD$.  Anyone with collecting, completionist, OCD (Obessive Compulsive Dissorder) is kinda fucked by that unless they wish to dish out the money.  I've done some $$$ support over time just cause they developed a worthwhile product and wish them to remain in the green, but even I notice their shortfalls.  But without them the klub17 wouldn't have existed.

 

Thrixxx is aggressive with their dmca protections and use even mostly false (from content but not a technical perspective) pretenses (child porn mods) to took take sites down supporting the klub17.

 

Between the original games, gameerotica, and of course klub17 fan websites there is literally terabytes of customization, only dwarfed by the sims, secondlife, and now the bethesda modding community.   But remember sims, secondlife and sex modifying bethesda games didn't used to exist..... believe it or not.

 

Just don't mention this on their official forums they will be furious and ban you and go on a ban dmca temper tantrum again.  Although I wasn't connected to the security breaches that allowed this leaked hacked game to come out I was paying very close attention.   The hacker known by a few nicknames (I've actually talked to him before in the web), eventually was outted his real name and gave up a few years back and faded into legend and history.

 

I hope that clears it up the confusion.

 

I would highly recommend if this site values its DNS or existence it leaves modding that game to the other sites for now.  Hell hath no fury like a furious porn developer lol.

I think sex games are important part of art and media.   Remember just because you do something on a game (any game) doesn't mean you will do something in real life.  Else half the people in my generation would by deployed in call of duty mode, while the other half stole cars and beat hookers up in a grand theft auto fury.  There are exceptions but they are the exception not the rule.

 

And this is why I think this is a good thing, especially for repressed countries like the USA and the third world.

 

Japan which has some of the freakiest sex subculture fantasy stuff in the world also has the lowest sexual assualt crime either, most of their rapes are done by USA soldiers stationed there, ironically.

 

Grow up world we don't need to be so fucking repressive!

Hello. I am a newbie on TK17 and when I am trying to reach the site, there is a error about database... I don't know why it it. You fellows also have the same issue?

 

mate same issue lol cant log in :( need sites to download ? :) server down i think ;)

The site is down for me as well.

I can reach the forum home menu but all links  to each category take me to an error page.

You too can't access modsgarden.cc ? I can't figure out what's wrong with the connection, cause if I use a proxy site the site appears to be fine and healthy..

Down again.  Not a clue as to what happened.  This is like the third time in about as many months it's been down.  It didn't seem like they fixed their problems, the last time it crashed.  Maybe it got overloaded with content somehow and they have to rebuild it.  I hope to see it back soon.

Just like people in the dark ages because they didn't know what a particular book, tome or ledger said or that the formulas where mathematic in nature they considered it the work of the devil and then they burned it.. Is that what you suggest?

You seem to think that logic and restraint will be involved in this. It seems the original makers are more going for the scorched earth tactic. Even if the game itself isn't hosted here, mods for the game encourage people to not buy content packs, and to seek free means to find the game. If we are lucky, if it does catch the ire of them, they will act like civilized adults and message the site owner, or a mod, or the like, and request the content removed. Chances are though DMCA claims will be the weapon of choice.

that could be said for any content here. Truth is any of these companies could do the same things. There is a difference though...

 

If your spread sheet or word processor can open a file... Well look at this way. .pdf was a proprietary format. Right? right. Adobe. Then came a bunch of the first readers/editors like foxIt pdf... Up to today where we have a .pdf reader on every single phone and in our browsers. And Adobe are bastards much like all big software companies. The same can be said of.. Well EA and Beth/Zenni/MS.. Not friendly at all. Those mixer guidelines were bad. And we are? Here?.. for now?

 

I would say any company that TRIES to go scorched earth. A bunch of things will happen..

1.) Case precedent. The fact is you can edit the files in Maya, Blender and a few others. Animations can be done in another packs so that's one and two.

 

2.) Novell "sold the rights to linux" aka Santa Cruz Linux. They tried to sue EVERYONE Autozone, RedHat, IBM, un-ending list They EVEN  tried to DCMA and sue the Linux Organization itself. (yeah, mentally defective out right madness.) LOST ALL THE APPEALS and went broke like a good little piece of shit greedy company should.

 

3.) "Sent on Snipe hunts" make a bunch of websites showcasing password protected files highlighting the latest in models, poses, scenes, etc..  Use some basic nomenclature that might be common. But ultimately it's a pack of doom and unreal skins.

 

The fact is most of the content here opens up in Graphical Editors and Creators. People make new content so the mold HAS been broken. 

 

In some case complete rewrites and bypasses of code that work better then the original!

 

So, yeah, A company that has a 19 year old piece of software is mainly held up by the community. It's wasn't the first time they tried "icey hot stuntz".

 

If they are wise they will just leave people the fuck alone. Besides only missing a Sequence/Scenario editor Ai-Syoujyo / Honey Select 2 from Illusion looks a ton better then the TK shit. It is WAY WAY WAY easier, there isn't an endless amount of steps to share models and outfits you have created. The TK17 code base is a cluster fuck of ugly and busted.

 

You talk about content packs but... from where we are both sitting?

 

I think it would be wise to keep the ideological chatter and politics of greed out of the discussion. Wouldn't you agree? These multi-billion dollar companies already have enough money. I know that.. AND you know that. Let's keep the enemies of mankind limited in their thinking please.
