Guest Posted September 14, 2016 Posted September 14, 2016 Hi everyone, First time I've encountered something really annoying I can't fix myself The problem: any part of female clothing that covers both legs seems to have become "solid", sticking to the legs and as a result tearing up in the middle. I get this problem with any outfit from gamefever's uunp sliders from Nexus, so it might be limited to these (since the male version is not affected). Can't really test it with Vanilla clothing for females, since I've manually installed the High Polygon vanilla replacer. (Said replacer is currently hidden on nexus, so no support there.) Looking for any help I can get, since I've no idea how to google this Many thanks in advance . Got to do some more testing now.
Kastagir Posted September 19, 2016 Posted September 19, 2016 Poor vertex weighting is not a "bug," it's attributed to laziness or ignorance on the part of the person who converted the outfit. There is no automated method of applying skin vertex weights to an outfit that doesn't produce this issue on a mesh of this type (i.e. skirts, robes or anything with hanging or draping elements). Weight painting is required and it clearly hasn't been performed here. It's an issue that's all too common with UUNP conversions.
