cattalina420 Posted September 10, 2016 Posted September 10, 2016 So, im new to this site, and i wanted to change my avatar, but i am unable to upload a jpeg, or normal image for this, sadly i dont know what a URL is, where to get them, or how to make one, ive tryed searching on google and other searches, but could not find a damn thing, so i would like to ask any one who reads and responds to this, to help a girl out, and tell me where to go how to get them or make the URL's so i can have a face on this site...  please note, i dont have nore will i do facebook, and have a strong dislike for extra programs i dont plan to use more then once
AgentCarolina Posted September 10, 2016 Posted September 10, 2016 Pretty sure you can't change your profile picture until you have more posts under your belt/ and a URL is the thing in the search bar. You'd have to take a picture of yourself, upload it to like imgur and then link the image back to this site

You can upload the image you want to use from your hard drive. Under the line that reads, "Upload from file," just use the browse button to find the image you want on your drive and upload it. Â

myuhinny Posted September 12, 2016 Posted September 12, 2016 Some like the needing to have X amount of post before being allowed to post links and upload pictures is to prevent bots from spamming the LL forums with ads and spam. With this step it prevents most spam on the site from happening.
