Why to use NMM instead of MO?

I like NMM so far, few issues here and there but nothing I can't fix in a few seconds. I haven't tried MO though, I did see it and it looked a bit more advanced though. I would have tried it for skyrim but NMM has all my mods in a nice neat order and i feel like 1 little thing can break my skyrim. Plus the download to NMM is kinda nice in my opinion. If you have mod organizer does it download to that or specifically NMM? I've always wondered that.

MO does download directly from Nexus with "Download with NMM" which is definitely nice (though it does take a little setup, nothing hard though).

Yes, you can directly download mods to Mod Organizer like you can with NMM. Just watch

I have always advised the use or attempted use of MO to anyone modding any of the supported games. ... however. in your case since everything is so perfect for you... keep on playing Skyrim with your NMM setup and have fun. Maybe later if you ever decide to do a complete reset of your game (clean install and mod build from scratch) give MO a try. Until then changing something that is working for you is actually a disservice. For example I am using NMM for my Fallout 4 install. I am not even going to re-approach the alpha MO and try it even as it is getting better and better from when I tried it before because everything is perfect for me currently using NMM for Fallout 4. If/When I decide to do a fresh install or a total rework of the mods and such I might give it a try again (MO that is)

Yea I would have switched by now but I'm close to 200 mods again and no crashes or problems so im too scared to mess with anything.

Yep... you should stay with NMM at least for now. Changing will only mess things up for you for a bit of time until you are able to get everything back into proper order since you don't know how to use NMM.
