ToJKa Posted August 27, 2016 Posted August 27, 2016 Word is the latest Nvidia driver causes this issue.
FusRoDah Posted September 2, 2016 Posted September 2, 2016 Word is the latest Nvidia driver causes this issue. I had this same issue before I updated my driver, so I don't that that's it.Â
dborg2 Posted September 3, 2016 Posted September 3, 2016 Both the current nVidia and the previous nVidia driver have issues with fallout New Vegas. You'll have to revert back to version 368.81, if you want to play fallout 3/new vegas/Oblivion(?). Somewhere on their Geforce-forum (but I forgot to bookmark it) nVidia acknowledged the issue and said they have it fixed by next release.
FusRoDah Posted September 3, 2016 Posted September 3, 2016 dborg2 is correct.Go to Control Panel --> System and Settings --> System --> Device Manager. There, click display adapters and double click your video card. There, click roll back driver. After the driver has been rolled back you will be able to start the game.
