alright. there's lots of pages. many many. a cursory forum search has yielded nothing useful. so maybe now is the time to speak up. hopefully, someone smart about these matters has some advice.

 

this mod is amazing. breathed new life into sims 4 for me. i always enjoyed the game but it can only take you so far. anyway. i watched this mod in development for a long time. i waited until pregnancy and a few other options were public release before downloading. that time has come. so downloaded i have. and have been enjoying the fuck out of it.

 

however...

 

i've run into a problem. rather, a complication, maybe. a minor annoyance. perhaps overlooked. perhaps a side effect of other things. anyway...when sims sleep in the nude there is often this thing that happens if they sleep in the same bed as another sim. there is this "see what's happening" thing. it's unable to be cancelled. it simply reappears in priority of sim actions. they wake up in the middle of the night. see their sleeping partner is naked under the covers. "noosh!" or "NIBS!" what have you, in sim parlance. then they lay back down. only to reawaken and repeat the same thing. if it's a guest staying over with a love interest this sim eventually leaves. miserable and tired lol. but, more nefarious, roommate lovers. destined to be sleep deprived because their significant other, whom they've woohoo'd just hours beforehand, dares sleep in the buff.

 

difficult to get rested up fully for a day of programing or dish washing or whatever your job might be, yes?\

 

i'm thinking this may have something to do with exhibition settings. but i've tried several options. including, what i think to be anyway, completely disabling exhibition.  it still happens. across all households. something weird going on. or perhaps i'm just not seeing it. any advice would be helpful.

Go into your Documents/Electronic Arts/Sims 4/Saves folder and delete the wickedwhims folder. That'll reset everything to default. Obviously, do not delete your saves which are also in this folder.

So is this mod becoming too buggy now?  Seems like its getting a lot of bug reports...I'm actually surprised a mod could be this buggy since its not altering that much - is it?

 

Although I suppose you don't have to look any further then Maxis to see how just a few changes can alter the game aka create bugs that even they have issues killing off lol....

I really hate using WW outside the house because of these type of awkward moments. Even clicking go away only makes them leave for a few seconds before coming back starring you down with a freaky grin on their faces. lol

Anyone got any tricks? Can't use the doors at other people's houses so....

That is a pretty good idea for the next thing I should work on, sex privacy system. Once that system is in place I can start defining sims relationships and jealousy.

 

 

 

 

 

I noticed that the needs almost never decays... it stops at yellow?  Was this intentional?

yes. the need never decrease below 20% i think....

 

 

Could it be changed so there is an option that you can change it so it can go to 0% again Turbodriver or let us choose which ones?

 

If that would be the case then sims would just die and there isn't anything that stops them from sex, even if their needs are all at 0%.

Because sex interaction can take a long time for some players the needs are paused at 20% to avoid situations like that.

Limit of 20% is just before needs turn into the red zone which would force you to do something about it, so I don't see a reason to put them into that critical state.

 

The reason I wanted the needs to decay is for hygiene only.  I like seeing my sims get "dirty" over time from sex.  Is there a way to implement that?

 

Once sim hits 0% hygiene they get this dirty overlay on their bodies which is not really that great. I will actually allow the hygiene need to go lower, but not to 0%.

Some things, ideas, suggestions.

 

1. Massage problem

 

The new WW version seems to affect the massage interactions. No problem about feet or hands massages but my sims are now unable to do body massages. The massage stop after 5 seconds. Don't know how the new WickedWhims mod affect massages but I think it does.

 

2. WW interactions don't totally fill fun and social gauges

 

After their day job, the sims often don't have a lot of free time. So the basic Woohoo is usefull, it fills the fun and social gauge quickly (approx 40 minutes and the two gauges are full). It also fills the level of the romantic relation between sims. Would be interesting if the WickedWhims interactions could give the same gain, no ? Or more gain. Cause many sims can not spend 3 hours in sex every day. :-)

 

3. The sims around do not see the sex interactions

 

When 2 sims have WW sex in the middle of a bar, a restaurant or any public place, all the sims around are impassives. No reaction, nobody is shocked, amused or just curious. But ok, changing the behaviour of non played sims is maybe something hard to do. If so, please ignore this blabla. ;-)

 

Anyway, step by step, you and all the animators are creating an amazing mod. 1000 thanks fot that !

Wish I could help bringing sounds but nobody knows how to bring external sounds in Sims 4. I saw that some people were able to do it to Sims 2 and Sims 3, but nobody to Sims 4.

I will look into the massage problem, but as someone else said this could be cause by other mod that allows you to do nude massages which is not covered by WW.

I the fun gain will be increased almost three times more for next public release.

Reactions will be a thing once relationships and privacy system will be in place for WW. Now sims don't really know how to react.

I don't know what do you mean by 'sexual excitement'.

 

 

Sorry, I mean how horny the characters are. So, as the horny motive rises, there is a higher chance of autonomous exhibition, woohoo, etc

 

Not sure if I will go as far as making it a motive, but that could be a thing. I am still not sure how that will be handled. Thanks for the suggestion.

 

Hi everyone! I'm not sure if I'm the only one with this problem but with the latest version of the mod I lost the "get in" interaction of the hot tub (jacuzzi). The sims can still get in to take a nap and (if they have a lvl 3 exhibisionism skill) they can Skinny Dip. After I uninstalled WW the interaction came back again.

 

Can you check this @turbodriver?

 

Another bug I've found is that the list of settings (WW settings) gets shrinked (1.png to 2.png) everytime you get in and out a configuration (ex. in the screenshots attached, the numbers indicate the sequence in which they were taken). Temporal fix: if you switch control to another sim and use WW -> Settings (and you never attempted to access that menu with that sim, 3.png) it gets fixed (the list returns to its normal display length for all the sims it was bugged, 4.png)

 

WW doesn't affect that interaction in any way, but I will look into it, thanks!

So I tested it and there are no problems, so sorry, but I don't see anything that can be done about it. WW doesn't affect that interaction at all, only the naked version. Either it's something about your game or other mods you have.

That is a vanilla reaction in the game that makes sims react to other naked sims. I did manage to edit it so that sims that are comfortable with exhibitionism will not react to it, but it is not yet affected by relationships between sims so doing that with other sim that is no okay with nudity will result in that.

Once relationships between sims can be recognized by WW then yeah, that can happen.

It depends what do you consider a bug. Interface stuff pretty much can't be fixed, but I am still looking into it. A lot of social interactions and reactions are not done yet, it's still really early and that stuff is just not implemented. Many reports of problems are not related to WW but other mods or oddities people caused in their games with other mods.

I only found few actual bugs to fix that are not even reported here.

Wish I could help bringing sounds but nobody knows how to bring external sounds in Sims 4. I saw that some people were able to do it to Sims 2 and Sims 3, but nobody to Sims 4.

 

1: That might have something to do with their exhibition skill. I don't know if you have a mod or if they're 'nude' in the vanilla game, but I know I have a nude massage mod and they immediately get up after getting undressed if they don't have the exhibition skill high enough to be nude in front of others.

 

2: It's my understanding that Turbo has that on his to do list.

 

3: I assume this one is on his to do list as well. One of my favorite parts of KW for S3 was the people who'd stop and hoot and holler when they came across my sim 'enjoying nature' with another one. That and the insane faces and boob physics in the animations were my favorite parts of that mod.

 

TD has a list of things he wants to add on either his Tumblr or Pateron page listed. Mod is already great but if he gets all that stuff added, it's going to be freaking epic.

 

 

1. Thanks ! I think you are right. Cause yes, I use the MC Command Center and the "nude for massages" option is activated. So I think the exhibitionism skill should not affect the non played sims (and every sims) for some usual interactions (massages, nude swimming, nude after sex, etc.).

I'm having problems installing this new version and the animations, though. My Sims 4 version is 1.22.22.1020. Is the mod compatible with this version? Just "TURBODRIVER SCRIPTS" are detected as custom content/scripts when starting the game.

so I have the proper The Sims 4 version, Wicked Whims is working but only the TURBODRIVER files, the game isn't listing any of the animations I downloaded and not prompting within the game menus. I put it all in the Mods folder (there wasn't one for some reason so I made one), I put copies on several different folders since the game seemed to recognize TURBOs files even before I made the Mods folder, didn't make subfolders, all files are the right "package" extension, checked the allow mods boxes in the options menu, all that, the animations files are never listed.

 

what's up with that? anyone know what it might be?

They just don't show up with some animations. Usually, mike24's animations end in a cum overlay for both of my sims. All of the others are kind of a crap shoot. But, since most animations don't actually have a climax yet, this sort of makes sense. We'll have to wait for animators to tweak that now that Turbo's added that layer.

Atleast let it hit red so it gets the green fumes to come out. Personal opinion on this but I thought the decay speed before was fine as it took 24hrs before hygiene to fully decay from full to red. 24 hrs is pretty long unless people go even longer haha. I wanted to report what appears to be a bug.  If you are in the middle of a WW animation and you get a text from another sim to go to a party, if you accept you correctly go to the party but your sim becomes unresponsive.  The notification wall alerted me to the fact that an animation was broken.

 

Ultimately I had to use a command "wickedwoohoo.stopsex" to get her responsive again.  (This was a little confusing because when the issue first occurred I went immediately to the list of commands on the first page but that command wasn't listed there, so I had no idea it existed.  I noticed it later in one of the notifications.)

 

As a side note, I was having numerous hard to categorize problems until I saw somebody mention you can delete WW settings from the save folder.  I did that and the mod magically starting working again.  Perhaps this can be placed in a troubleshooting FAQ?  Here are a list of issues that deleting that folder resolved:

 

• WW not finding suitable partners for an animation (when there are several nearby).
• Sims not giving any WW options except exhibition.
• Numerous animations becoming unavailable.

Thank you for the info about the problem with party invitations, I need to figure out how to deal with that.

 

The command and that instruction is in the FAQ already, I am not sure what were you reading.
