Pet Collar Comments Mod Ideas (WIP sorta)

So after playing a little bit with the Submissive Lola mod (some aspects of which I really like, some not so much) I decided to try out Pet Collar again.  I played it maybe a year ago and I didn't like the mechanics.  Those have changed and if you haven't tried out Pet Collar in a while I suggest you give it another look.  ANYWAY...

 

After playing both mods it struck me that combining the two would be a worthwhile project.  After a few brief PMs with Yurik he's given me permission to forge ahead with a mod, or series of mods.  That being said, here we go.

 

Step #1

NPC Comments to Pet Collar Player

This works like the Naked Comments vanilla quest or the WI College Robes Comments, with general Hello statements according to voice type.  This is very basic stuff; a one stage quest with a 24hr timer so individual NPCs only say their line once per day.  Easy enough to do and I'm already at the 80% completion mark on this part.

This quest will not trigger ambush sex like Dangerously Nude or do anything else.  It is just for NPCs to acknowledge the player wearing a Pet Collar.  Eventually this might be used as hooks for some NPC on player action or to trigger other quests.  But that is in the future.  Followers and some specific NPCs will be restricted from using this quest.  They will have their own.

 

Step #2

Follower Comments to Pet Collar Player

This quest would only be available to active teammates.  Ask them for sex or ask for a spanking.  The teammate might also force greet them with a demand, like 'lick my feet', 'give <aliasRef NPC> a blow job' or they might just comment about something else for game role play purposes.

 

Step #3

Faction Comments to Pet Collar Player

This would work like the teammates but be restricted to the College, Thieve's Guild, Companions, etc.  Could also include the Civil War Factions so if the player travels to one of their Faction's camps they might get used/abused.

Step #1 is complete.

 

I just tested the esp I made with PetCollar v5.1 and it works with v5.2.  Now I just need to figure out what quest priority to use.  I set it at 90 for testing purposes but at the default 40 like the other comment quests the collar dialogue doesn't appear.  I can't leave the new quest at 90 since that will override vanilla quests.  It will just take some tinkering to figure out.  Once that is done and Yurik approves it I'll upload an early beta for testing.

Step#1 has been finalized and I'm waiting for Yurik to test it.

 

I did change a few things.  Instead of using the vanilla WICommentsScript I wrote a new one with new globals.  I left the quest priority high (70) so it might be the first thing to show up but all NPCs using the quest will only be able to say the lines once every 4 hours.  If one NPC says the lines, no other NPCs can comment about collars for 4 hrs.  I think that works better than everyone who qualifies for the quest to be able to say the line once per day.  It got repetitive (and old) pretty fast.  Also, now the CollarCommentsQuest will not interfere with the vanilla WIComments quests.  If an NPC comments on a collar he might also comment on the player being naked or wearing College robes.  The way I had the quest at first it was only one of those options; the collar, being naked, or the robes.  Now NPCs are back to saying all of them.

 I've been using your first release. I like what I see so far, especially Lydia's comments.

 She could stand to repeat the lines less frequently, but the actual dialog is great. It might

make more sense to have the comments be location triggered, as right now I hear dire

warnings while I'm strolling through Whiterun on a sunny afternoon. So, warnings about

horny Draugrs only when you enter a crypt etc.

:(  According to her voice type and the mod the ONLY line she should have is "Why are you wearing a collar?  That's just weird."  Anything more than that is another mod.  Nothing in this very basic colour commentary mod refers to draugs, or anything else.

  I have seen dialog that seems to be triggered by my collar, so that must be your work; no problems there.

A new mod, fab. A D/s focused mod, more fab. Time for me to go on a rant.

 

Something that has struck me as a bit odd is that most D/s mods seem to focus on the player being the sub. Whenever I thought about it, I'd find it makes sense. If I want to slave away my follower, put her in cages and use her as a sex slave, I probably don't need specific mods for that. Of course there are also a variety of mods offering Dom/Domme like features to the player, but anyway, let me add my two cents about this mod of yours.

 

Practicing BDSM in real life I've often found that some of these mods focus more on a slavery like approach rather than a consensual one, why? I mean, I get it, middle age like game, middle age like morals. But I've often thought that I would like having a follower who is also my sub when I play a male character.

 

Features for this could be:

 

  • A quest row that works on basically any follower to try to get them to be the submissive. Something remotely realistic would be nice. So far I've always used SLEN whenever I wanted to fuck a follower and it usually works right away. I'd just wish this wasn't the case. Amorous Adventures does offer 'some' quests and some aren't really bad at all, but when it comes down to it they're just your generic 'kill those mobs' and 'get that item' quests. So what could this quest line be? Well first it would be nice if followers could have a tendency - submissive, very submissive, barely submissive, dominant. Of course this could be a setting in the MCM, hopefully people will treat it appropriately and don't make Serena very submissive. Perhaps a neutral as well. 

    Back to the quest. Here's what I would have in mind to be a nice quest line to well court a follower and eventually have them as submissives.

    1. Dialogue options like 'You're pretty today dear.' - Fucking cheesy ik, but lots of girls simply like those things. This could raise an affection parameter that would enable the dialogue variation 'I've been craving you. Won't you share my bed with me tonight?' - I mean, when you approach a friend of yours irl about sex, it isn't as easy as grabbing a few items she lost for her. You gotta court that girl man.

    2. Depending on the affection level gained through compliments, gifts of flowers, other gifts, nights spent sleeping together, monsters killed together (you know, all those things that'll make a girl have the hots for the PC) there'd be a different reply. Possible responses could be:

    - Oh, I'm flattered, but I don't think we're that far yet. I'll consider it though. (not yet enough affection)
    - Really? Actually, me as well. . . Yes, I'll sleep with you. (more than enough affection)
    - Me? And you? Have sex? That won't happen anytime soon. (barely any affection / barely submissive)
    - What did you just say? I'm not sure I can do that with you yet. (barely any affection / submissive)
    - ...

    There's plenty of options. Now thinking about it, probably could even give the followers another attribute like: bold, shy, passionate, cold, bratty.... to adjust dialogue to fit the character. Not every follower would be shy. The follower in question for me would be one of the Sassy Girls (yea thats right up my alley) so a little bit of bratty dialogue would be nice.

    3. Possibility for the follower to approach the player character, based on affection and their arousal. Form of approach again depending on how submissive they are and what character profile they are set to. Could even have a dominant follower decide to tease the player character randomly. This could perhaps be a sleeping event that gets triggered when sleeping with the follower close by. Could trigger a scene with some dialogue and some options. Depending on what options are choosen the follower approaches and continues in a different way. If they're dominant and the dialogue options chosen by the player are rather submissive, then that'll cause the follower to have an interest in the PC as a pet/sub/slave.

    4. A few more random events or approaching the follower to raise devotion (a different stat compared to affection) devotion determines how likely it is for the followers to submit. If the follower is set as dominant then the stat could be interest. Once devotion/interest hits a certain mark it will be possible to trigger a quest. Also, the more submissive, more dominant a follower is, the faster devotion grows.

    This quest would be initiated with a line to either ask the follower about them becoming the PCs submissive or the PC asking the follower about becoming their sub.

    If the devotion isn't at the required level for this question to succeed though, it will result in the follower asking for more time, gifts or other things depending on their personality and status.

    Not doing anything about this, once devotion/interest hits a threshold the follower does approach the PC themselves about it. Their offer to become their submissive or them to become the pcs submissive can be accepted or declined. Which will cause a drop in affection and devotion/interest so it will take a while again before the follower automatically makes a move on the pc again.
     
  • Once they are finally your submissive or you theirs is when things get interesting and these are probably the suggestions you were wanting to hear from the community. I'm sorry for all the previous. I just think it'd be nice to have a more sim dating like approach to these things.

    1. Something I would like to see is simply submissive needs or dominant needs. A submissive wants to please and a dominant wants to be pleased. So depending on the followers arousal they would initiate scenes. Not randomly though. The submissive will beg for it and you can say 'of course, let's go somewhere to take care of you' or, you could take her right there in the middle of the street, behind some building, in your player homes bed or your sex dungeon if you have one. The dominant will bind your arms and demand you follow them, or something like that. 

    2. Of course you can always initiate scenes with your submissive, but you have to beg the dominant. There could be seperate stats again: comfort for the submissive and approval for the dominant. For the submissive it doesnt matter if her comfort is 0 or 100 (assuming such a scale), it will merely change what she sais. She might say 'no, I don't want to', but you could force her any way. In fact this is what I've been missing from all mods so far: force. A clear indicator that the slave doesnt like whats being done to her, but it being done regardless. Maybe there could be a setup for them on how masochistic they are, maybe a list of fetishes. So when things are done to them they dislike their comfort sinks. There could be benefits from keeping the submissive comfortable as well as the obvious benefit from just doing whatever the fuck you want to her. Comfort higher than 50 could result in a minor buff to her combat stats and above 75 a major buff. Could maybe add an option to determine whether they're combat or house followers. That way it could be possible to have a maid at your player home or a combat follower who's also your submissive.

    Should the follower be the dominant, then they'd take ownership of your a player home you choose, starting from then, they live there. Or maybe if its easier new homes could be added that Dom followers could live in. So you can also decide if they tag along with you or wait in their home for you.

    A funny feature could be letters from your Dom/Domme. The courier system could be used to send for you so you can be of service to your dominant. If you don't answer this thugs will be sent after you and should they defeat you, you'll end up at your Dominants house in bindings and won't get out for a while.

    3. Shame could also be a nice thing. Depending on a submissives traits again she could feel shame when people point out her collar. This could also lead to certain things again. Depending on how submissive they are the less shame they feel and the more shame is taken away when having intercourse with them. Shame could also influence the devotion/comfort parameters.

    4. An option to bind submissives to walls, floors, columns at their collar.

    5. A Fear function that will determine how likely they are to try and resist you. What I forgot to mention is that of course I'd also want a forced slavery side of things, not just the consensual way. Fear could be induced by hitting the submissive with crops or whips and the more fear the more likely they obey. Fear slowly decays so you will always get to enjoy whipping your slave into shape again or have them run away if you dont look. If they're a house slave then maybe they'd hide or use the opportunity when you enter the home to run outside, this giving you a set amount of time to capture them again before they talk to a guard. They could of course approach the next guard, but the player is supposed to have a chance at capturing them again. This could maybe require the pc to injure the girl to a certain point. Maybe shooting her with a bow as she tries to run (personal favorite fantasy of mine, please can I have this)

    Potential consequences could be to tie them up. Of course there also needs to be forced slavery for the player as submissive. Also giving small escape minigames and bits and bobs like that.

    6. Errands. Simple really, send your submissives on errands. If their devotion and comfort is good they'll do it. The higher the stats the faster and more fruitful the errand. Like 'go buy me ore for this amount of gold', could lead to different outcomes in quantity of ore and speed of retrieval. On the flip side your Domme will also send you on errands for her. On errands submissives might decide to stay away, but this will trigger a quest line to find them again. If you're the submissive and you were sent on an errand but do not come back, the courier is going to come for you again and if you dont answer the thugs will chase you - again.
     
  • All in all I can say that I'm not quite happy with the 'simplicity' most mods out there seem to offer in terms of players being the Dominants and it mostly just focusing on the sex parts. I'm not sure how useful these suggestions were and I have a few more of course, but those just are the type of features that I really wish to see in a slavery mod. I've had these ideas and cravings for a while now. I know exactly what I want from a slavery/submission mod and that makes it pretty hard to be pleased with anything out there that only scratches the surface. I know you're not planning anything like a reverse submissive lola. Just couldn't help myself when I saw the opportunity to share some of my ideas. Of course I would do it myself if I had the time and knowledge of it. Sadly it'd take me quite a while to even learn how to do this myself. 

 

Right now it would already be cool if you could add a dialogue option to initiate sex with the submissive that wears the pet collar. The SLEN one for followers is just bad, specially when the girl is supposed to be a slave.

Follower dialogue is in the works.  It will be a shared global just like the vanilla follower dialogue is.

 

Realistically, ny intent is to do all of the dialogue within the realm of reason and the context of the mod.
 
For instance, what happens at the College in Winterhold.  According Devious Devices ‘lore’ Urag gro-Shub has books in his library that must be kept under lock and key because people want to read them so badly.  Why no one is allowed to read them is a mystery to me since they are basically harmless references and instructions on bondage gear.  It’s not like the player can open a worm hole by reading them.  Anyway, Sergius Turrianus the enchanting instructor knows about the books and wants to use the player in an experiment and Urag gro-Shub will lock devices on the player so he can send them on a wild goose chase.  It stands to reason everyone at the college knows what’s going on with the books and devices and they accept it or choose to ignore it.
 
Jumping to the NPC interactions in my mod, both Colette Marence and Phinis Gestor will notice the player is wearing the Pet Collar and they will comment on it.  Once they do their introductory quests will start, IF they have talked to the player at least once before.  If the player engages in conversation with them, both will ask to speak with the player in private, if they are not in the Hall of Countenance.  If that is where the initial discussion takes place, it will continue unbroken.
 
Colette Marence is curious and not mean-spirited in her approach.  She comments on the collar and plainly asks if the player is submissive or if she is in a situation she can’t get out of.  The dialogue flows naturally (I think) and the player can back out of it several times.  There are points depending on how the player leads the dialogue where she will have the opportunity to [submit] and [submit and Kneel]  Both options will yield a bump in the yet-to-be-made ‘Pet Collar Submissive Faction’ and [submit and Kneel] will force 3rd person camera and the player will kneel before Colette.
During this conversation Colette will make it clear what she wants and that the player is willingly agreeing in to it.  She will also clarify her position by stating she won’t ask the player to do anything she’s not willing to do herself.  That’s a hint that she might be a switch or even submissive herself.  She also makes it clear that she’s in charge when they ‘play’.
After the introduction Colette will inform the player she doesn’t have anything for them to do and they should check back later.  That will complete her intro quest and the player can avoid Colette’s collar dialogue after that.
 
Colette’s Pet Collar interactions after that will be:
  • She will do some light domination like making the player kneel and address her as ‘Mistress’ when speaking.  This can happen anywhere.
  • She’ll have the player do simple run-and-fetch errands like ‘go to the Frozen Hearth Inn and pick up a package for me’.  This can happen anywhere.
  • If in the Hall of Countenance she might give the player clothing/armor restrictions, ‘you’re such a lovely little pet, it’s a shame to hide your body, etc.’
  • If in the Hall of Countenance and the player’s arousal is high enough Colette will have her masturbate on the spot.
  • If in the Hall of Countenance and Colette’s arousal is high enough she will demand oral from the player on the spot.
  • If in the Hall of Countenance Colette might randomly instruct the player to get on all fours so she can be rewarded with a doggie-style strap-on fucking.
Every personality NPC I use in this mod will have a similar formula; intro and a chat where the player can say yes or no, and then their respective collar quest afterwards.  And every NPC will be different.  Some go light, some go hard and the player will get clues as to what their prospective Dom wants and expects.  Their collar dialogue can be avoided after that.  Just like in real life, some subs won’t be interested in what a particular Dom is in to.  The player as the Sub sets the limits, again just like in real life.  I'm making a consensual Submissive mod because there isn't one here I like.  They go too far or are just stupid and it's obvious the modders making them don't have a fucking clue as to what BDSM really is; a consensual relationship with sexual overtones based on trust and respecting limits.

I agree with a lot of this. There should be an option to ask whether things could be handled a bit more privately too? A lot of subs I know in real don't like being too public with it. So if perhaps she could simply tell the submissive to come to her room at x time. Failing to be on time could result in a punishment, that the player can accept or not. Not showing up at all could start some event where Colette could inquire with the player if they intentionally didn't make it. This kind of thing happened to me with a girl before actually. We talked, got to know each other a bit. Were supposed to meet up for some fun. She never came and when I asked about it she told me that she just didn't feel comfortable yet. In a way I found it a bit annoying, because I really asked her plenty of times and told her this is what we both want or it's nothing. She then said sorry and never spoke to me again.. granted, people told me about her being a little odd, but she was cute. But yea the player could decide that they dont actually anything to do with the Dominant and ask to be left alone.

 

Also, what about male submissives? I enjoy roleplaying as a female, sure. But I actually really enjoy being a sort of butler/servabt for women who deserve it too. It's just that most don't deserve it. I'd like an immersive way to perhaps play around a bit with submitting to a very amazing woman in skyrim. Someone like Elisif or Aela perhaps, (with replacers of course). You know, powerful women with needs they can't get fulfilled.

 

When I first played the Elisif quest from Amorous Adventures I already thought: "Damn, I'd server her." You know, she can't really be openly affectionate with anybody, because of her position. Building a secret relationship with her being more of a 'favor' type of Dom would be enjoyable to me. You know different types of people like different type of Dommes. Her sending for me through letters sent by a courier. Asking to destroy the letter at once. And of course sexually she would want to be pleased, but she's very proud and wont let you dictate whats happening. Sometimes she may even suggest to blindfold and cuff you so you learn your place. Stuff like that.

 

Anyway, keep going with it. I wished I could mod v.v I got so many ideas.

As for real life experiences, I attempted to relate here at one time how the BDSM scene really is (or was back in the late 80's and early 90's when I was active).  There wasn't a shortage of people here dog-piling me to 'correct' what I posted.  "That's not how it is!" and "You don't know what you're talking about!" was the gist of the posts.  That's when I gave up.  There's no reasoning with a pack of game forum retards who think amateur-hour no limits is the norm.  My view from that point on has been 'let them be stupid and wrong'.  They aren't in the scene and even by the very remote chance they are, responsible adults don't deal with them.  If anyone does, no one takes them seriously and they're the butt of a running joke they're not in on.

I can relate a little. Thing is, with all those submissive mods out there I'm really craving a mod that lets me have a cute follower as a maid at home who cooks for me and tends to my sexual needs. Would be cool when having a need system installed. Most of the time followers seem so.. random. Like 'why're you even following me?' I've been craving a follower that comes with a quest line or a quest line that'll work on any follower. To pursue them and train them as well as make sure their needs are met. Of course I'd also play some characters who are abusive and doing non-con stuff, but yea mostly what I've seen as mods was focused very heavily on the aspect of 'sex toy' and basic objectification with no real reasoning behind.

 

To me bdsm isn't this or that way. You'll hardly here me tell people their way is wrong, as long as it falls into specific guidelines. Like if two people tell me about their relationship and they're both happy and agree to whats happening, then if it doesn't fit my own views I gotta suck it up and accept that others live their lifestyle in a different way. Ultimately bdsm to me is more related to freedom than to restraint. My own sub tells me that it is freeing and relaxing for her to serve me, as it should be! 

 

And something like that for skyrim would be pretty nice. Makes me wonder though, as a hetero dominant, why are you working on a feature for submissives in the first place and dont work on a Dom mod for us fellow dominants who want actual as immersive as rational content that isn't just blatant slavery with no aim but to provide some pretty pixels with some words to go with it.

I can't explain why not I'm doing a hetero-male-dom-centric mod where a male player can meet, bond with and ultimately form a consensual master/slave relationship with a female NPC.  I don't even play female characters and I had reinstall skeletons, replace a few animations and make a female character I couldn't give a fuck about just to test this mod and make sure it works.  Thanks for making me rethink everything.  :angry:  But this wouldn't be the first mod I throw on the scrap heap.

Out of habit I play male characters.  In my Skyrim Jordis the Housecarl is Jordis the House Maid.  She's butt-naked and pierced and the only clothing she has is a maid's hat and stripper high heels.  Instead of sitting on her ass and munching bread all day she sweeps and cooks and stands next to the dinner table with a tray full of glasses if I sit down to eat.  I did all of that because even in the vanilla game she has what Doms call 'potential' and I was tired of her greeting me like I was trespassing in my own house.  So remade her as my toon's bitch and he owns all of her holes whenever he wants them.  So yeah, I can't explain why I'm doing a mod centered on broads that targets a downloader base consisting of dudes who like to play broads.  I'm really fucking confused now.  :(

Well. I'm sorry.

 

I actually had a nice idea for a follower mod.

 

She could be a follower you meet in some inn, morthal sounds like a nice place. When she was starved and near death she asked at the inn for food and a roof and the inn-keeper has since kept her there, treating her like garbage. You get to choose to help her, or leave her to her dismay. If you offer to help her and talk to the inn-keeper he's a real ass we all know about. Telling you that he can't let her go until she's oaid her depts. It's not like keeping her is cheap for him, you know. So when you approach her about that she sais that whenever she didn't sexually want to pleasure the inn-keeper he made her pay for the food and lodging. Her actually working there isn't being recognized by the inn-keeper, because according to him that's the least she could do after he saved her life.

From that point you can either pay her dept, run away with her (to be chased by thugs after) or kill the man as he sleeps (they both sleep in the same bed and you can sleeper kill the guy and she wakes up saying 'omg what have you done, quickly lets run away'.

 

Since she is grateful to you, she offers you to take charge of her, it's not like she has anywhere to go. You can then decide to send her to work in the bannered mare or become your personal house maid in one of your player homes. At first she doesn't want sex, but eventually as affection rises she becomes availiable. Until she reveals that she is pretty submissive and wants to pleasure you whenever you want.

Other than that, yea. I do have plenty of ideas to FINALLY have a mod in skyrim thats not about sluts or being raped randomly. Something with substance that lets the player experience a nice relationship with their submissive be she his battle companion or just his house maid. I just can't mod :'D (yet)

 

IF i could, damn I so would make a mod that's tailored to my own desires, not other peoples. hahahaha

I'm done thinking about it.  I have a mod concept and I'm running with it.  I REGRET asking for outside input at this point.  I feel like I was just kicked in the nuts.  I'm not taking any more suggestions.  Download what I make or get fucked.  Doesn't matter to me.

Oh deer. I really didn't intend to make you feel that way. The mod is shaping up greatly from what it looks like, at least for players who want to play as a submissive. It's concept, from what you told me abotu the winterhold college stuff, is much nicer and more immersive than the stuff I saw in other mods so far.
