Â My memory is a bit fuzzy since it's been a while since I played Oblivion but this is my character's face after I feed-kill/suck-dry/whatever an opponent in combat. Nepro Posted April 11, 2012 Posted April 11, 2012 Btw I completed quests with first vampire patron Sullivan (I think that was his first name) in Bravil. He sent me to Imperial City. I went to find Madole but I don't get any quests it only says I should go to Unholy Darkness Website and I download second installment. I downloaded this mod before from their website I don't get it... Â After going to Crypt in Imperial City and meeting Mad Madole guy which tells me to download second installment I get new quest in diary named 0 . Whenever I go to list of my current quests I get crash to desktop - CTD.

Then he told me about the imperial city vampire heaven, which I acquired afterwards. And it ended there.
Nepro Posted May 22, 2012 Posted May 22, 2012 I run some tests. Oblifall - Losing my Religion did not impact Unholy Darkness feature of holy ground. The setting of holy damage to vampire's body is unchanged by Oblifall.  Though there are problems with mods affecting the way you die or changing it. Any mod that affects the animations or/and the way your character die will be generate the conflict - some solvable others not.  Death No More v102 by Talonhoff http://oblivion.nexusmods.com/mods/24317 is compatible just be sure to load it before UnholyDarkness.esp. If you load Death No More v102.esp after UnholyDarkness.esp then you will get bug where you can't feed and won't be able to use some additional vampire powers. Also the HUD bars won't work properly. In this case for example: Curse of Hircine (swapping eyes enabled) + Unholy Darkness + Vampire Society = googly eyes; in my case, the eyes were yellow.  The simplest solution is to turn off swapping eyes in the Curse of Hircine ini file, or disable the mod that mess with the eye change when concealing vampire eyes.

And what about that blood dripping from the PC mouth when the vampire fed is it some magic effect texture or..? Â Â Â Â Since x.117 has a scaled head size i assume, It won't apply on their face?
greenquesadilla Posted December 1, 2012 Posted December 1, 2012 i'm having a problem installing the fangs. i followed the read me to the letter. i created a new race mod of breton (my char's race) by dublicating the breton race and naming it "BretonCustom" and selected the traditional vampire fangs from my Oblivion/Data/Meshes/Madmole/UnholyDarkness folder in the "teeth(Upper)" slot. the problem is that when i load my game and type "showracemenu" and select the duplicated Breton race w/ the vampire teeth, the screen goes grey-blue. when i save and reload, my char is invisible and i can't do anything except jump.

Â Are you running OBSE utility called MenuQue? If so take the MenuQue dlls files out of the game and put them back once you change to the Breton race with the fangs.

greenquesadilla Posted December 2, 2012 Posted December 2, 2012 nope, that did nothing. i am still getting an invisible character and only having the ability to jump, but this time the screen turned all black at the showracemenu when i selected the breton race w/ fangs on it, probably because the color of the area outside of the walls of the interior of the building i was in was black. the blue-grey color before was the color of the area outside the walls of the interior of the building as well.

Â Other suggestion is to try make another .esp with the fanged race. Perhaps the one you're using gotten corrupted somehow... Â Let me know. It's 12:52 AM on the East Coast now. I got bothered by the fact that my mask and/or sun resistance would run out at the most inconvenient times, without warning. So I dug around the scripts and found the info I needed to display on screen. For anyone using HUD status bars in combination with UD, maybe this will be of use to you as well.  Adds 2 timers for your mask darkness and sun resistance. Adds a bar that empties an hour after you feed, indicating you can get your next blood point. Feed sooner and it refills without giving you a blood point. Baron Of Hell Posted January 20, 2016 Posted January 20, 2016 Oh I might as well state my thoughts on the mod.  I only have a few hours on it.  One big problem I had was a scripted event.  When you first become a vampire a hunter is sent after you that is very strong.  The guy killed like 20 dudes while chasing me all over the map.  My first problem was I didn't realize it was scripted and I was probably meant to die until after I died 15+ times to the guy.  I actually did manage to get away from the dude .  I hope I didn't break the game by doing so.   The other problem is the guy can spawn anywhere you are so he will kill any other NPCs around.  If they NPCs are guards no problem but if they are your important companion or some other named character it can be a pain.  Also I think this is a bug because it makes no sense for NPCs to be hostile toward a vampire hunter.  It might have been that the other NPCs attacked him because they didn't know I was a vampire but I hadn't put on mask.  I'm still new to the mod so I''m not sure when NPCs can know I'm a vampire.  Then another problem the game crashed 100% of the time when I died in a Inn.  No problems with dying outside or in some other places.  Now what I really like is the ability to turn people into vampires.  Oddly this isn't listed as feature.  I also like that it is all voice acted.  The script is a little rough but better than what I could ever do.  I really haven't gotten many powers so I can say first hand how good they  are. I can say there are many powers and they look great.  Oh back to bad things.  Anytime you are about to die the master vampire comes in and saves you.  He then brings you back to his castle.  I would rather they just let you die and reload.   The feature is just a waste of time.  Just think of all the times you are in the middle of quest and die.  Do you really want to hoof it back or start the quest over?  Also sometimes you the master saves you but doesn't stop the damage being done to you.  So lets say you get set on fire.  The master saves  you, brings you back to his castle, then you you burn to death.  There is a way to turn this off by stopping the quest associated with it but I'm not sure if that will break something or not.  Â

Â At that point you get closer to being his equal, thus there's no reason to save you anymore. Â I don't recall if its when you get your own thrall or if its at a specific stage. Â It could also be that you have to get to a certain point in the main vampire quest. Â I typically would finish up the starting vampire quest, before doing anything else in the game. Â Plus, I would be so weak I'd have to spend time feeding to strength my vampire. Â In terms of vampire hunters, they scale up. Â If you kill one, they send a stronger one. Â After a few they become pretty hard to deal with. Â I also recall garlic driving me nuts lol.
